I have been using this modem/router now for about three weeks. It replaced a unit previously provided by my nbn provider. I was looking for a unit with a bit better wifi speed and coverage. So far this unit seems to provide a little better coverage. It was easy to configure and had a few more features my old unit didn't ie. DDNS and mobile app. Quite happy so far.

Set this up about 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Works with iiNet Fiber to the node. Had to ring iinet to get it setup as the TP-Link wizard did not work. Added an old Netgear router via network cable to setup access on the other side of the house...worked fine. Wired my xbox up as well, no issues.

Easy to set up, excellent range and great control via app. Can get the kids off their wifi connected devices without them knowing as network still shows connection.
This proved an expensive failure with my system. For a start, it would only log in as prescribed using Google Chrome as the browser and then the speed of communication between desktop PC and router was so slow, the 'unresponsive page' kept appearing. When all the details were eventually typed in, the modem router would still not connect to the internet. This was under the guidance of my ISP who gave up and told me to contact TP-Link. That was another exercise in frustration as all the consultant wanted to do was push it back on the ISP. I got sick of being a yo-yo.
Had been experiencing major issues with home internet. Slow downloads, drop outs, devices issues, you name it. Swapped the provided hardware from Smellstra to this unit; our net is now flawless. Setup was a breeze, app is easy to use and the wifi coverage now way better than before.
