[11330-02-20G] Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT Gaming 16GB GDDR6 Video/Graphics Card

I went from a 5600, 1080p to this with a 1440p monitor. it is so epic. A really solid card and the experience feels at that perfect point where i cant imagine you'd need to upgrade for many, many years.It is absolutely worth the extra $100 or so to get the 7800 over the 7700. But for this same very reason it is a four star review because at the end of the day it is a little disingenuous how they have done this lineup. From a friend I happened to get to try the 7700 version first and it is almost exactly the same card. For some reason they've beefed things up here but skimped where the other card doesn't. I dont know and I'm sure there is very reasonable explanations... Beast of a card, worthy upgrade!

Paired with an R7 5700X and 32GB RAM this card is a beast, plays everything I've thrown at it with 4K high settings no issues and the whole PC stays cool & quiet through long gaming sessions, rock stable.Card feels solid, above average quality, do note it will block two PCIe slots underneath it (three in total) despite only having a two slot backplate.

Decent card but with an issue

Scan were awesome, as always. The card is excellent for gaming, 4k ultra in Starfield gets a solid 60+fps with a R5 3600, 32GB DDR4. One issue I have encountered is a glitch when connected to a 2nd monitor, monitor doesn't have to be on. There only needs to be anything occupying one of the extra display slots, a hdmi/Dp cable or even a dongle for quick disconnects. Sound stutters occasionally and video glitches, apparently the fix may be increasing the minimum frequency in AMD Adrenaline. I haven't tried it yet but no one should have to fiddle with something that costs over £500 to get it to do a basic function, it should just work.

Excellent Card for the price

The Pulse version of this card is astonishingly good for the fact that it’s “just a pulse” and not a Nitro and for the fact that it only has a Dual-Fan design. It stays relatively cool (about 70C on non-adjusted fan curve, 85C Edge). It is also barely audible over the other fans in my PC.The card though shows signs of sagging as it is a relatively heavy card. This can be easily fixed by using a GPU support bracket.As far as the GPU itself goes, it’s a very decent higher-end midrange card. The power consumption is higher than that of a 4070 / 4070Ti which is about comparable to a 7800XT in non-RT games. They are part of the mesa package.Currently though, if you are looking to run Tensorflow on that GPU, you might run into problems as it’s not yet officially supported. To have the best chance of it working, use the rocm/tensorflow:latest docker image.

Good value/expensive mid range graphics card.

Currently around the best bang for buck if you are not bothered about ray tracing. It even does a reasonable job of that at a stretch, but not on the same level as nvidia 40 series cards in the same price bracket for ray tracing. FSR3 is also ok and gradually getting wider uptake. Again not quite DLSS, but in the real world outside of benchmarking you are unlikely to actually be able to notice meaningful differences. A card for the next few years.

It's great

I originally bought an Msi ventus x2 4070 but returned it back to amazon because it was making this annoying vibrating noise caused by the cheap outside shell/case.This 7800 xt is solid. It feels much better made and has a metal back plate. It's very quiet when playing games. I would recommend it 100%If you're torn between 4070 and 7800 xt I would say get the cheapest one because in real world usage you won't notice the difference.I have had no issues with drivers like some people claim to have experienced. I just used ddu uninstaller to uninstall nvidia drivers then installed amd drivers from amd website.My case is meshilicous ssupd and it fits nicely.

Robust and working

The EVGA of nvidia! So cool and so silent!

Upgraded from a GTX1080 to this. I run it in a low power state as I currently only game at 1080p which has bought my electric bill down with only a slight drop in FPS; yet I still get comfortably over 60 fps. This brand is the EVGA of nvidia. The card runs so cool although you wouldn't know it as it is so silent. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I play: ETS2, Rocket League, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Transport Fever 2, Call of the Wild The Angler and Hunter, Forza 5, Kerbal Space Program, PGA Tour 2k23 and Tower Simulator 3.

a great performing card at a great price.

my previous card was an RTX2080, the 7800XT is a huge leap in performance.The card stays nice and cool, 30c-40c idle. 45c-70c under load.There is a little bit of coil whine at certain/high frame rates - not any louder than what I'm used to with previous cards to be honest.perfect for high/max settings 1440p@165hzUsing a Linux distro on my system meant the card was just plug n play also.
