I trust HILLS products and it was a very pleasant experience purchasing from this website. Regarding this particular products, we have started to use it for 2 months and one of my two cats (who doesn't have urinary problems and can actually eat ordinary food) absolutely in love with this product. My second cat who has urinary problems and needed to be on a diet forever, not as excited, but most importantly he hen's been seek since he is on the prescribed diet. I would recommend this product!

I bought this at the end of January. My cat was up until then a very health cat. He started having urinary tract problems. The vet who we had trusted talked highly of this brand. We felt that the way they were talking, we could trust them. My instinct was severely wrong. We were told by the vet that he needed to be put on this. A couple weeks go by and his symptoms come back. 10 days later, he has a severe blockage. They inserted the catheter and put him under sedation. He passed away that same day they found the blockage. I don’t think this brand of food did what it was supposed to do. A high price tag does not equal quality. Because of what I thought was supposed to happen, my cat, my best friend is dead. I will never trust this brand again for a pet food.
My senior cat is a rescue and came to us with a lot of baggage. Over the years there have been numerous occasions when she has urinated outside the litter tray. A complete nightmare to be honest, but we have persevered because we love her. This Multicare Stress Urinary Care has been absolutely wonderful. She's calmer and uses the litter tray more regularly and she also loves the taste. All-in-all, this product is effective in multiple ways and keeps our cat in a good frame of mind while taking care of her urinary health.
My vet prescribed this dry food for my cat 16 months ago after an emergency operation for a blocked urinary tract, crystal formation, infected kidneys and near kidney failure. This food has saved my cat's life keeping his urine at a healthy acidic level. I highly recommend this food especially for male cats who tend to develop crystal formation in the urinary tract which has a sudden onset and can lead to death.
My cat had a urinary blockage and infection a few months ago. He has taken this after the incident and loved it. Tried to switch to another brand at a cheaper price but he preferred this and always finished up his meals instantly. So far his condition is stable.
My very anxious cat was having issues with frequent visits to the litter box. Two vets have examined her and both are leaning towards a diagnosis of FIC. She’s being transitioned to an all wet diet, but prefers eating dry food to wet. She is not crazy about wet food. The Hills Stress c/d wet doesn’t have much gravy, so she eats it reluctantly. I feed it to her in small doses. She is crazy about the dry food and gobbles it up. The food has helped normalize her trips to the litter box. She’s been on the new diet for 2 weeks and so far, no additional trips to the vet so it appears to be helping her.,

He would go through bouts of urinating every couple of minutes for 5/6 times before it would subside temporarily, to squatting to urinate motionless for 5-10 minutes at a time, to even having urine with blood in it a few times. Because of the high cost, I sometimes mix a little 'over the counter' cat food in when things look stable with him, and then if I see that he is starting to exhibit symptoms, I feed him this food 100% and the symptoms will subside. It really has helped. Something to note, however, is that he gained quite a bit of weight on this food, even though I followed the feeding guidelines on the package. The vet had me reduce the amount I was feeding him in order to get him back to a better weight.
Our cat is a little fat boy and loves this food. We had a lapse in deliveries so I bought him some more flavorful food as a little treat, he still picks this over the other brand. Our little chubby munchkin loves this food and he hasn’t had any accidents as of late! If you’re vet recommends this for your furry friend don’t hesitate to get it!
