Has no trouble in direct sunlight on a 30+ degree day keeping stuff cold or even frozenWill keep running overnight on a standard hilix battery without causing a problem, but it even has a 3 stage adjustable low voltage cutoff if you did leave it too long.Makes an excellent camp chair/ drink coolerOnly negative really is it could be quieter, the inherent compressor noises may not be ideal if you were trying to sleep right next to it in a van for example, but you probably wouldn't hear it in a tradie environmentHighly recommended and great value for money
