I had looked and looked to find this bourbon to no avail. When I saw it on Bourbon Central I jumped at the chance to purchase this product. I’ve enjoyed all the 1792 that I had tasted but this one was off the chart. It has become one of my all time favorite and I’m grateful that Bourbon Central has it as a selection. I’ll be buying more!!
Worth every penny!! 1792SW is one of the best wheated bourbons I have ever had! It is sweet with plenty of vanilla, caramel and a smooth finish. If you like wheated bourbons I can’t imagine not enjoying this!

I have always felt the Ridgemont Reserve 1792 bourbon was undervalued. As such I was eager to try some of their newer offerings. The Sweet Wheat is a good but not great foray for the distiller into the specialty market.I found the bourbon to be a bit light across all sampling categories, smell, body, flavor, mouth-feel, and finish. It is a fine whiskey to drink casually and share with friends though it lakes the same robustness that other wheated bourbons possess.
