I have just started out skating on vert. I have 187 killer knee pads which work well but still felt impact and they seemed like they might slip around. Adding the gaskets made learning knee slides feel very comfortable and safe. They fit well are comfortable, don’t restrict movement and reduce impact. Highly recommended as an addition to your skate bag.
Make sure to purchase up a size! I'm very small (5'2", 115 lbs.) and I needed a medium. Otherwise, they are comfy and effective. Excellent company overall!

These knee gasket pads are a great option if you want something different from the standard velcro with hard plastic pads, especially for knee protection. These gasket pads are great because they don't impact the feel of skating as much as traditional hard plastic pads do and they also fit under pants which is an added bonus. I love them especially for when I mess up on my flip trick and board bangs into my knee! Recommend by this 40 year old Dad bod shredder!
My other brand of gaskets were well worn, stretched out and in looking for a replacement was dismayed at the increased costs. A friend recommended the 187 Killerpads knee gaskets and I purchased them. After 10 sessions or so, fully satisfied thus far: they fit true to size, they STAY IN PLACE, and they don’t appear to show any wear or weaknesses in materials or construction.
The 187 Knee gaskets and Pro series knee pads are a perfect couple. I tried Pro-tec's Pro series knee pads and they constantly moved around while skating. This is extremely problematic because having to knee slide is generally not a planned event. The knee gasket and Pro-series knee pads don't move what so ever and give me the confidence to knee slide on command. I am writing this so that no one else has to make the costly mistake of buying other pro-series knee pads before coming to the realization I did.
I should exchange these. I can get them on, but they are too tight to skate in. I used the measurement guide. My wrist guards measured as size small and are a great fit. Maybe I will lose fat in my knee area. 🙏🏼
