Took it out of the box, popped in a battery and out the door! Blew off acorns, leaves and gravel from stepping stones in drive and from front paver entry. Went back in the house headed toward the deck and tested my control of the variable speed in the house. That was an opportunity for an epic fail. Worked like a charm. On out the door to the deck and cleared it of more acorns and a few leaves. Stood at top of stairs and was able to blow leaves out in the yard from four steps up! Wonderful addition to my 18 volt collection.

Decent value, pretty good blower, excellent if you have a large stash of ryobi batteries

Moderate to good quality. Blows well. old style (orange) fan blades shredded after few months of heavy use. To ryobi credit even without receipt fixed it for $20 in a week, and put in the newer fan blades. Value is high. I own many batteries, and mine came refurb with a 4Ah (large) battery and charger for about the same price as new one. Lasts a long time (maybe 20+ minutes) on a single charge. Not the best ryobi tool I've ever used, but it's solid, blows pretty well, and does what it advertises (not a weakling). And ryobi pretty much stood behind it when I needed repair. Have since bought a second refurbished one for around $20 more than the battery and charger alone (new) and still consider it a good value.

Good Value / Price Performance

Product arrived complete, assembly took less than five minutes. Condition of the blower was very good, only signs that it might be a recon were some minor scuffs on the blower tube. The P-108 18V lithium+ 4AH battery charged up quickly and fully with the included Ryobi P118 Charger. The specs state this Ryobi model can deliver 100 mph wind velocity at 280 CFM (cubic feet per minute). That's about half the capacity of larger electric blowers and it's what you'd expect from this battery voltage/size class of blower. PERFORMANCE: It works great for light to medium duty jobs, e.g., clearing decks, sidewalks, driveways, garage floors, flower beds, gutters etc of dry leaves and debris. On a full charge, I found that it ran almost 15 minutes at CONTINUOUS HIGH SPEED. ...Β MoreProduct arrived complete, assembly took less than five minutes. Chances are it will run much longer for your average tasks due to running the blower at variable speeds and intervals, rather than continuously at high speed. The fan speed did not decrease noticeably until the battery was nearly depleted You should NOT expect this unit to effectively clear embedded or heavy / wet leaves from grass. For that type of task you'll need a gas or electric blower with more power and wind velocity. But for lighter tasks in the yard, it'll do the good job just fine. I really like the variable speed trigger that allows the use of lower speeds around vertical surfaces to minimize blowing debris into the air or back into your face. The trigger was easy to pull and maintain at different velocities. Fan intake housing is below the battery pack and is angled away from the operator which minimizes loose clothing from being sucked against or into intake housing. The whole unit is well balanced and lightweight, weighing in around 6 lbs. OVERALL: Buying a reconditioned unit was a good PRICE / VALUE decision. You should expect in the neighborhood of 35% savings over buying a new unit from the retailer. There is nothing remarkable about this blower but there is also nothing really to pick at either as long as your expectations are inline with the job tasks for which it was designed. I found it to be a very useful light to medium duty blower. You get a great 4Ah Lithium+ battery and charger so it's compatible all other Ryobi 18V ONE+ tools. This alone makes it a very solid choice for the price. Pros: Well Designed, Durable, Easy to Use, Good Balance & Weight, Ryobi ONE+ 4Ah 18V Long-Lasting Battery Cons: Could be a bit stronger for the tougher tasks

Great price with adjustable speed. Already had the batteries so they were looking for something to power. Very effective blowing leaves, dust, etc. Plus I really appreciate that it’s compatible with my 20” lawnmower and weedwacker.

Just right for me
4 December 2019

This is my very first leaf blower ever, so I really have no basis for comparison with others. That being said, I don't think I could have found a blower that is better suited to my needs. I don't have a very large area to clean off, so I don't really need a smokin' high-powered blower. This one does everything that I need a blower to do. The variable-speed trigger is a neat feature. Working into corners, it doesn't blow leaves back into my face. Glad I picked this one, because it is just one more Ryobi One+ to add to my collection. Got plenty of batteries.

Lightweight, efficient and functional
10 December 2024

I purchased this unit to replace an old and bulky backpack model 2 cycle gas engine model blower. I am totally pleased with this Ryobi blower. No longer do I have to start up a very noisy gas blower. No longer do I have to mix oil and gasoline. The Ryobi blower is lightweight and so easy to operate. I simply snap in a properly charged 18V battery and using the control handle (trigger) move the very powerful blower to clear leaves, grass cuttings and dirt from any area. I'm happy to have this blower as an addition in my arsenal of Ryobi battery operated tools.

I received it in a box. Has described slightly used and the trigger does not engage properly but nonetheless it stills working. It's not as strong as I thought it would be, but for the price I can live with it

Powerful yet light weighted leaf blower !
20 October 2021

Best tool and the only tool I own for Yard cleaning and it’s amazing !Light weight , strong power , get the leafs out of the way in seconds .Why I did not buy it earlier and paid and waited others to do yard cleaning ?The battery is quick charged and runs about 20-30 minutes job , and I took a break while waiting for the battery to be charged if I want to do more work .It empowers a lady like me who always thought it’s men’s job , but it’s not a job it’s a fun outdoor activity.100% perfect love this tool !!!

Very disappointed with Ryobi
4 October 2020

Very disappointed with Ryobi. I bought 3.0AH Lithium+HP batteries, hoping they would last and I can slowly add more products. First this barely lasted for more that 10 minutes on Jugsaw and I could only get few cuts out of each charge. I thought I was doing something wrong. Now I purchased this leaf blower. Batetery only last 10-15 minutes and not even enough to do our small driveway and sidewalk. I thought battery pack is bad, so I exchanged for a new pack, but still the same.
