Hard Chard honours the brave contributions of the women banished to Australia with the boldest expression of Chardonnay the winery could make. Bold and strong in character, this deep rich and golden Chardonnay is filled with stone fruit aromas and a sweet textured palate. The criminally intense toasty oak notes have hints of butterscotch and honey balanced with layers of ripe fruit. This full bodied, powerful wine finishes with rich notes of butter and vanilla.

My new favourite. So much Chardonnay now seems dry and/or acidic. This is smooth and yes there is oak used beautifully.

This is like a bottle of sugar water. Easily the worst chardonnay I have tasted. Note balanced at all. May appeal to those with a very sweet palate,

I love this wine! Slightly sweeter to the normal dry Chardonnays, easy drinking, smooth & buttery - and great finish. Have some cheese & crackers with it first, yummm

This is a great Chardonnay for the price. Very easy drinking. Smooth, delicious, rich flavour. Appeals to those who prefer a more wooded Chardonnay than unwooded.
I found this chardonnay by chance, I'm so glad I did! I really love the flavour, it is just the type of wooded wine I enjoy with meals and it's not too heavy to drink by itself. I only hope the price stays reasonable!
One sip of the Hard Chard and I'm instantly back in the early 90's where Oaky Chardonnay was King, and so was I. Nobody else does a Chardonnay in this style nowadays, and Thank The Deities that these winemakers do. It is delicious, and as someone else here said, "It's a hug in a glass". If you like Oak, you'll love this wine.
Bought this 2 weeks ago. Been regular for 19 crimes wine. Overall meet personal expectation while its price consider acceptable range
Purchased this when on special. So glad I did. Buttery flavours. Now our absolute favourite.
My absolute favourite style of wine is a big buttery Chardonnay....most are out of my day-to-day price range, but I have been fortunate to try quite a few of the more expensive ones. I'm definitely no connoisseur, but for me personally this is equally or more enjoyable than many of the more expensive aged wines. It is absolutely beautiful, like a hug in a glass. I recommend it to anyone wanting that old school taste. I hope that the winemakers never try and tone it down or price it up. Ten stars if it stays exactly the way it is!
This Chardonnay is such a disappointment. Itβs a fake! Chemical tasting, with no depth and a quite frankly horrible finish.
