So after buying many pans with young adults who cook on high and walk away, we finally found pans that work. These pans are non stick can go into the oven and dishwasher, but who needs the dishwasher, they clean so easily. We came home to a Smokey house and a pan that no longer showed the hex pattern. I used a green scrubber and it was back to new. Well worth the money especially with the Black Friday sale. I’m hoping to replace all our pans now.

I love this 8” pan! If it had been a shade better weight balanced it would be perfection. But it’s close enough to perfect for 5 stars. It’s ideal for so many single meal jobs & stellar side service to my larger, heavier pans. I appreciate it’s heat distribution & non-stick, easy clean up. I seasoned the whole pan with a dedicated seasoning oil, as directed, before putting it into service & it has been on stove duty steadily. It does everything the big boys do without the heavy lifting. It is my favorite pan for a sauté, for prepping 2 small cuts of any meat, a grilled sandwich, two egg omelets, toasting corn tortillas. And it can finish the thicker meat cuts in the oven like a champ. Great pan=Happy cook!

Well, this pan comes the closest to being “non-stick”. I really like that due to design I can use a metal utensil with it. ALL non-stick surfaces have issues with “spray oils” due to the propellants, which degrade them, but this one has less surface exposure. I use real oils anyway, and it seems to work well. What I REALLY like is the heat distribution- even heating across the entire surface. Cleanup is relatively easy as well. I cook Pork Chops coated with a Brown Sugar rub, and the excess caramelized sugar can be wiped right off with a paper towel. I am going to buy a ten or twelve inch matching pan to try some other recipes. Pretty optimistic that I will be pleased. These are good pans.

Pretty good pan so far. These pans definitely need a break in and seasoning period. Oil them well and heat up several times before first use. After that, simply rinse clean and scrub (if necessary) with stainless steel wool. Don’t use detergent. Heat up, oil, wipe clean with paper towel before putting away each time. Basically, treat these like your favorite cast iron. All-in-all, this pan is a bit more non-stick than a well-seasoned cast iron pan and will definitely last a lifetime.
It was what I expected! A durable, well-constructed, for real non-stick pan that is ideally suited for my live-alone life style. My day begins with quality in my hand as I prepare my fried, scrambled, or omelette eggs that slide effortlessly onto the plate when done. These are cooked in the juices from sausage, ham, or bacon that is cooked evenly with no “hot” spots to cause overcooking. Do I sound like preparing breakfast is something I anticipate with pleasure? I’m guilty as charged! All a result of cooking on a top quality pan. (and with a minimum of olive oil required)
If I could give this more stars, I would! I was cautiously optimistic when I ordered this cookware last year, because I've purchased other cookware that made elaborate claims that weren't realistic. Also, my husband HATES when I spend a lot of money on something simply because I read about it or watched a video. BUT over the past year I have been liking it more and more. I use the smallest pan the most (8"), because it's perfect for eggs, including omelets! Last night, my husband was talking to me on the phone and realized he burned my favorite pan. He said the entire house was filling up with smoke...he REALLY burned the heck out of the pan. He soaked the pan, then started cleaning it. Much to his amazement (and mine, too, becasue I saw how bad the pan was...I wish I took a picture, but figured my favorite pan "had bit the dust")...the pan cleaned up BEAUTIFULLY! WHAT??!! I don't know how it did, because I've never had cookware that could be "brought back from the dead". Now, I don't recommend burning this beautiful cookware...I feel we were very lucky, but my husband is suddenly HAPPY (?? maybe too strong of an adjective) I made the purchase (as a last year Christmas present to myself). Thank you Hexclad (and Gordon Ramsey...the main reason I bought my cookware set). This is the ONLY cookware that is worth the money!!
Just received the pans and washed the pans twice. Seasoned them as instructions detailed. Wiped excessive oil in pans out and the coating withing the pans leaves residue on towel. Trying to return the pans, but have not been able to make contact with hexclad. They have not responded to my emails and there customer support number says they are changing carriers and cannot respond to calls at this time. The customer is responsible for return shipping, which I am betting will cost as much as the pans did. This is a scam.
My daughter bought this for my birthday 7-2-2022 I was so excited to get it. Its HORRIBLE!! THE PAN WONT EVEN COOK EGGS WITHOUT STICKING.. I JUST LOVE THE LOOK AND FEEL JUST SO DISAPPOINTED HOW IT COOKS. I DIDNT HAVE THE HEART TO SAY ANYTHING SO GUESS WHAT?? THIS XMAS 2022 SHE BUYS ME THE BOWL SET AND MY HUSBAND BOUGHT ME THE ROASTING PAN. MY HEART JUST SUNK!!! ALL I COULD THINK WAS, $199.99 FOR A POT I PROBABLY WILL NOT B ABLE TO USE. I PRAY TO GOD IT DONT STICK LIKE THE LITTLE 8" SHE GOT ME. I WANTED THE 14" CHICKEN PAN W/LID PLUS THE 12" BUT NOT NOW. TRUST ME IM SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!! NOT TO MENTION GORDON RAMSEY IS MY IDOL LOL. BUT I GUESS THESE PANS ARE NOT FOR ME. FINGERS CROSSED THE PAN WAS JUST A BAD PAN IDK?? AND YES!! I SEASONED IT TWICE.
I have read a number of reviews online about how these pans are not stick free. They typically use the fried egg test to check and are severely disappointed in the performance. If you watch the "as seen on TV" ads for other cookware where you slide the egg around over the stove, tip the pan and pour the cooked egg onto the plate (and that is what you want), then I would say the Hexclad pan is really not for you. However, if you are a decent cook and do things correctly this is about the perfect pan for a fried egg. I just opened the box and decided to try the fried egg test right off the bat figuring if it worked today, it will be that much better as what I am cooking later continues to improve the pan seasoning. I just opened the box and decided to try the fried egg test right off the bat figuring if it worked today, it will be that much better as what I am cooking later continues to improve the pan seasoning. First you have to initially season the pan. I actually did it twice in a row and I used avocado oil. After I let the pan cool down I washed it and started the test. First I rubbed a little more avocado oil and let the pan with oil heat to medium low on my induction cooktop (about a 4 on the Miele scale from 0 to 9). After the pan was heated I poured the egg in and let it cook for about 5 minutes. I then tried to turn the egg over with a spatula to get it "over easy". While most of the egg didn't stick, enough did to ruin the presentation. I will call that first test a fail. I then let the pan cool down, washed it, and tried it again. This time after rubbing a little avocado oil on the pan and letting it heat up, I used a little vegetable spray on the bottom of the pan. Let it warm to medium low then added the egg. Cooked it for about 4-5 minutes and then attempted to flip it. This time it flipped perfectly. Not a piece stuck. After it cooked for another minute or two I picked the pan up and poured the egg onto the plate. I would give this a grade of A+. I would guess that after several months of use I probably won't need the spray vegetable oil but we will see. Until then, with the fast and even heating I get from it on my induction stovetop and that I can use metal utensils with it, this pan is a real winner.
I love to make omelets for breakfast and have tried many different types of pans (All Clad, non stick omelet pans, “stone” finish pans, etc.) over the years to find one that performed well and also cleaned up well. My Hex Clad pan stands head and shoulders above them all. A beautiful pan, non destructible, even heating and crazy easy clean up. I have bought this plan for several family members and friends and that all have loved the pan. We have bought other pieces and they have all provided the same great service.
