This all-new composite chassis is built strong, light and fast for giant enduro pros. A new suspension setup been developed, tested and raced at the highest levels. And more adjustability lets you tackle technical trails just the way you like. This full-composite frameset is engineered with enduro racing geometry and adjustability that lets you change the bike’s handling and riding characteristics with three flip chip settings. Also new is the ability to swap out the stock 29-inch rear wheel for a smaller 27.5-inch one. This “mullet” setup makes for an equally short chainstay length and a shorter reach, giving the bike a snappier feel on aggressive terrain. The updated Maestro suspension system has 160mm of rear wheel travel, paired with a 170mm fork up front. And new integrated down tube storage provides convenient carrying capacity for trail riding essentials. Race-bred suspension A new Maestro rear suspension system with longer travel (160mm) was developed and tested under the extreme conditions of Enduro World Series races. The trunnion mount shock has a longer stroke (62.5mm compared to 60mm on the previous generation). And the Advanced Forged Composite upper rocker arm adds stiffness and lowers overall weight. Adjustable enduro geometry New flip chip technology lets you switch between three settings depending on the terrain. You can select a 63.5, 63.9 or 64.2-degree head angle and corresponding 78.3, 78.7 or 79-degree seat tube angle, resulting in a 35, 30 or 25mm bottom bracket drop (size medium) to fine-tune handling for trail conditions, riding style and rear-wheel size. Rear wheel options Riders can choose either a 29- or 27.5-inch rear wheel, paired with a 29-inch front wheel. The larger 29-inch option improves stability and roll-over capabilities, while the 27.5 option delivers a more agile, snappier feel. It’s a quick and easy change to adjust the bike’s handling and feel.

Amazing suspension and durable spec

The suspension design and spec here is spot on. It was super easy to dial in the settings. GX Eagle is solid and durable. Bike is super planted and comfortable. It is also very good looking design. My only complaint is the stock grips were super small and hard.

I've had this bike for over a month now and since I've had it it's been the only mountain bike I've been riding. I ride a mix of bike parks, shuttle laps, and regular pedal up type riding, and I usually share the load with a mid travel trail bike and a full downhill bike. To be able to do it all on one has really surprised me.The stability at speed is comparable to my DH race bike and while I loose a bit of travel I haven't found a situation where I wish I'd been on the DH bike. The way this bike corners makes me literally laugh out loud the whole way down the trail. Big bike park berms, you can push as hard as you can and the Maestro platform gives you all the support you need. On flat turns you are able to lean the bike over and trust the bike will find the grip, and it will. When you get the bike in the steep rough stuff the active suspension and a stiff frame is able to hold a line through whatever you point it down.As for my local trails I do a good bit of road riding, including some road climbs, to get to the trails. Now, you're not going to mistake this for a road bike but I've never felt the need to reach down for the climb switch. Climbing on the trail isn't much different than my previous trail bike, the suspension is able to remain active and maintain grip without any noticeable loss in efficiency.I've really been enjoying this bike over the past month and a half. It's been a bike I can just grab and go ride anything and not worry about if I brought the wrong bike, be that bike parks laps or climbing a few thousand feet.
