Terrific bike. Value. Nice upgrade with the Ultegra Di2 e-shifters. Lots of compliments on the color. Best of all, I am riding faster and still in a comfortable position, not too extreme.

I have 3,000 miles on this bike, and I have nothing negative to say about it. The first thing I noticed was the stiffness. On my first ride on this bike, I shattered a couple of PRs on climbs I do 1-2x/week. The next thing I noticed was the exceptional handling. If you are going to test ride a TCR, get it out on a winding descent - you will be blown away. The wheels are great - a good balance between weight/stiffness/aerodynamics. Another strong point of this bike is the tubeless tire setup. After 3,000 miles, it looks like I am just about ready to change the sealant for the first time. The tires have held up great (still riding on the one's that came with the bike). Zero flats. If you pump the tires up a lot, the ride is not comfortable. But you can ride on much lower pressures with tubeless tires, resulting in a velvety ride that inspires confidence when cornering and riding on rough pavement. I cannot comment on the saddle or bar, as I had those swapped out at the shop. Anyway, give this bike a look. I looked at a lot of bikes, including the new Tarmac, and I am very happy I chose the TCR Advanced Pro Team 2019.

Huge improvement in bottom bracket stiffness and steering response over my previous racing bike. Stock tires were comfortable and rolled well but heavy, heavy heavy for my riding style. Switched to Conti GP5000s with tubes and took a 1/2 pound off the bike, all rotating weight!

beautiful color and looks - 12 speed di2 very smooth and app features are nice, battery life not as good as old di2 - tires need upgrading as does saddle (personal) and BB was overly greased so i replaced it with internally threaded - once i made those tweaks very impressed. Handling and responsiveness are awesome. Wheels are solid and fast with noisy freehub, tubeless hookless works well (even if have to select compatible tires) but good overall.
This bike is fast, responsive, stiff, and comfortable. The rival axs group set performs amazing, quick shifting, great ergonomics, and sharp braking. The stock giant wheels are also great, stiff and a respectable weight. It's just a shame giant decided to spec absolutely terrible tires on a ~5k bike, no excuse there. The fondo tires are heavy, slow, and not very supple. They make the bike feel mediocre when it's really amazing. I switched to a pair of tubeless gp5000 str and the difference is night and day, the bike really comes into it's own. I saved about 200g by changing the tires, they roll faster, feel more supple, and the steering feels sharp and responsive. Just know that if you buy this bike, tac on an addition $100-$200 for a new pair of tires or you won't ... MoreThis bike is fast, responsive, stiff, and comfortable. This bike is incredible. It's light, responsive, comfortable and fun to ride - especially fast! The wider tyres make a huge difference to the ride comfort (I'm currently running GP5000S TR in 30mm), and the new 12 speed Ultegra is a noticeable upgrade on the previous Ultegra Di2. It's just lots of incremental upgrades on the previous model of TCR that add up to another brilliant, bang up-to-date bike. Very impressive.I bought a 120mm (OEM) stem but had to get it from Germany as the UK was out of stock. Also had to wait a few months for a Stages crank(R8100) to come into the UK. The bike doesn't come with one fitted any more which is a shame.
Beautiful bike, very fast and responsive. The spec is awesome also. Although, I could do without the Power-meter as I find it unnecessary. This is also my first wireless electronic bike and it shifts perfectly.
Bike is great, but I hate spending ~$5k and then needing to invest another few hundred to get a good set of tires for the bike. Wish Giant would have spent the money to put some top rated tires on the bike versus sending equipped with their mid range Fondo tires. The tires are heavy, slow and prone to punctures so far 2 punctures in just a few weeks, which is pretty rough considering the only upside to these tires is supposed to be their durability. Per strava I'm averaging ~1mph less on the new bike versus my old madone. I'd attribute most of this to the tires but will have to wait to find out until I drop another few hundred to see how much speed is gained back when put some GP5000's on.On the positive side the bike is very comfortable, shifts well, brakes well ... MoreBike is great, but I hate spending ~$5k and then needing to invest another few hundred to get a good set of tires for the bike. Absolutely superb bike. Migrated up from a defy but this is quite something else. It is fast, responsive and surprising to me, very comfortable. I was dubious about the comfort as the defy was lovely. The 11-30 is ok even for me but I am 57 so considering the 11-34 for the really steep hills, it is great that this is an option. First time Di2 too so this is the icing on the cake. Well done Giant a joy and an absolute blast to ride.
