Bottom band - will not last. The compression is firm - good. The top band - pulls around the ankle okay, obviously as it is larger. The bottom band, which needs to be snug to your leg just above the ankle needs to be quite small. This band has very limited stretch and when you pull it around the ankle during fitting it creaks due to over stretching. I believe it will not make 12 months with wearing them weekly. Could be fixed by making the band with a firm elastic . I have only warn half a dozen times and it sounds like it is ripping every time.BTW - shoo assistance measured my calf and provided the right fitted article.

These calf compression sleeves are ok if you are looking for a mild compression. They aren't as tight as my compression socks, but still do a good job reducing my calf pain. They allow my to wear my regular socks so that I don't have full compression socks on everyday.

I’ve used them only once since I’ve purchased them. They fit well with my low running socks. I would expect the material to be more like an actual sock but they are really a sleeve. Also the length is just, it would have be more interesting to be able to stretch them a little.
After not running for 2 years (for various reasons) I went out too hard too often and ended up with shin splints (to the point of struggling to walk). I'd bought these for my son earlier in the year and he swore by them so I thought to give them ago (due to my love of running). Well, I had limited pain and was able to go out and do 5ks with minimal pain on day 1. Now I wear them all the time as part of my running gear. Highly recommended.
My friends play professionally and they always recommend me to get one of these. I’ve used this my last week game and it was amazing, felt tucked and my calves and shin’s were loose like I was 10yrs younger. Best part is it didn’t even roll down after all the beating from the game.I don’t have problem with it but my friend did mention that it would’ve been nicer if it could wrapped around the calves and shins only but length wise not far down to the ankles
The quality of these aren't great (e.g. Stitching and materials) - I had to go through a few packets to find one without broken stitching. Support-wise they are ok I guess. If you have torn/injured your calf these are not what you need. You can get a better quality, higher support brace from most chemists. These are for long-distance running. You'll find better ones online on dedicated running websites.
I have a pair of these from several years ago, which are excellent so I thought I would get another pair - but the pair received are nothing like my earlier pair, and are of such poor quality I am wondering if they are fake. In particular, the stitching (which is black, not white as shown) is uneven and fraying right out of the box, the material is thinner, and there are no grip bands at the top and bottom of the sleeves. They are just shoddy and will be going back. Do not buy.
Just did a 96km hike over 25.5 hours and 4500m elevation. As I had just purchased these and not tested during training I didn't wear them during the event but put them on as soon as I finished. Wow! My calves feel great with them on and it has definitely helped with recovery. Highly recommend.
2XU calf guards acquired to protect after minor surgery (stitches). Worked well, and allowed continued exercise. Added benefit was that calf cramps dissipated too. Win,win.
