Best running tights I have ever used. I've used Nike, Adidas and lululemon tights for running but these ones are by far the best. Super comfortable, perfect level of compression to hold everything in place and best of all they do a good job of hiding my package. :)2XU is my go to brand now for running tights will definitely purchase again in the future once these reach end of life. Thanks!

My first pair of compression tights and I love them. After reading a few reviews I ordered Small/tall as I am 6ft but have very skinny legs. Great compression and the length is perfect however they are very tight around my 32inch waist. I should have trusted the size guide and got medium.

The compression on these tights is unmatched compared to other compression tights I have tried. They have decreased muscle fatigue which has in turn decreased my average pace per km.The downfall of these tights is because the phone pocket is located at the back the tights need to sit high on your waist. If you wear them lower there is a lot of extra material between your glutes and your hamstrings eliminating the compression and moister wicking benefit’s as well as decreasing the overall look of these tights. This is extra disappointing because I had filtered the tights to show only low rise tights. If you don’t mind high rise tights these are a must have.

I am super happy with this pair of compression pants. The MCS system works well yet it is the overall compression of the garment that I am impressed with. The Light Speed Compression Tights significantly reduces my lower extremity muscle fatigue and reduces cramping in my gastrocnemius bilaterally. They also help me stay warm on the cold mornings and I do not suffer from any chaffing. The zipper pocket is just big enough to hold my ID and medical insurance card. I highly recommend these for anyone who runs.I am 5'9" and weight approximately 165 with more leg muscle mass than upper body muscle mass. I wear a medium and they are tight and take a little work to get on yet this is how they are designed. If the size is too big, you will not get the compression control ... MoreI am super happy with this pair of compression pants. As with all my other compression tights from 2XU, they are awesome. 2XU by far makes the most comfortable and best-quality compression tights. My only complaint/request is bring back the side cell phone pocket. The current back cell phone pocket does not properly fit a cell phone and it is also uncomfortable to have a cell phone in the back pocket. It was far more comfortable to have the cell phone pocket on the side.
These are my second pair of 2XU tights and I bought them as they have a higher compression rating than the cheaper ones I already have, plus the muscle stamping featuring, and more pockets especially the gel pocket. I find that the feeling of compression level is actually less than the other ones, possibly there's more stretch in the material. Not sure I can feel a particular level of difference with the muscle stamping feature. The extra pockets in these are super helpful however, especially the dedicated gel pocket. Both pairs of tights help me run further with less fatigue, and quicker recovery. Really rate compression tights for this.
Tights are very comfortable for running and fit well. Compression is better than older models and I think makes a slight difference when running as I am recovering from a few injuries, and helps to keep better stride placement. The waist is higher than an earlier compression tights, which better holds in place over hips and stops chaffing below in front. However if you are carrying extra weight around hip height you will notice it more. The back packet is OK for phone (you need to wrap it to keep it dry), but a bit hard to find the opening while running. This version ankle opening is much better and more stretchy than the older version which was hard to get over ankles and started to break the stitching.
Eight years ago I bought my first pair of 2XU compression tights. After tremendous use, I'm retiring them for new ones, and I'm glad to say the new Light Speed are better than ever. More thoughtfully-designed pockets, better muscle stamping, yet without compromising build quality. My old pair had issues with the adhesive in the X design that caused it to stick together all the time when washing and folding, and then inevitably tear upon releasing. It didn't affect function, but aesthetically they were a mess. What I like most is that 2XU are about the only brand that offer tall sizes. It seems surprising to me that with so many endurance athletes being lean for their height, that more brands don't offer sizing options like 2XU. Medium Tall is perfect for me being ... MoreEight years ago I bought my first pair of 2XU compression tights. Medium Tall is perfect for me being 6'1" and 180lbs with an athletic build and proportionately slightly longer legs. Kudos to 2XU for listening to their customers, and I should add, keeping prices consistent with the past!
These tights are not bad. I miss the support of the CW-X banding, but their tights are not designed for the male anatomy...the entire package, ya know. The seam goes straight through the crotch. So, I went with 2XU's. I feel like these are made for elite runners, not the average-joe Clydesdale-type, with a few extra pounds. I need to wear patella-bands, or my CEP knee braces, over the knees with the 2XU's, but since I am retiring from marathoning, and switching to mid-distance at age 61, these should be okay for a while. I wish there was a version made with a higher and wider waste-band, though.
Have used these on about 6 runs so far. They are very high quality. I feel like the built in pockets are a bit too small to be useful for anything beyond keys/wallet/gels, but I use these under my joggers and typically use a vest with my runs. I did experience a good amount of inner thigh chafing but this isn’t atypical with compression pants and easy to avoid with your favorite anti chafe product. I’ll likely buy again if they ever need to be replaced.
