These were recommended to me by my phlebologist for gym trainings after I had a few sclerotherapy sessions. They are super comfortable, non see through, the waistband is wide enough not cause excessive pressure. I noticed my muscles are recovering much better

First, I own two other pairs of 2XU in medium. They are capri style— which is different. They fit great.. love them. I bought these legging for tennis on cold day/nights. They did not stay up.. they kept sliding down.. I was tugging on them the entire match. So disappointed.. since I’ve worn them, they cannot be returned.. I won’t buy this line again. Fit isn’t consistent.. Not cheap. Expected them to stay put.. not slide down.

I love the fact that these compression tights extend over my ankles with a stirrup strap - this provides excellent compression over the full leg and top of the foot, which is especially important for the long-distance runner. I pull these on right after my long runs and viola - my legs are ready for a recovery run overnight! These are my favorite compression tights, and there is something about the pattern that makes for really effective recovery. In addition, there is no pinching at the waist with the wide band of these tights. These are a must-have for every ultramarathoner!
I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, which means I know a lot about the lymphatic system. I also have swelling in one leg due to venous insufficiency and 2XU recovery compression provides the graduated support I need to eliminate swelling and keep me moving.I recommend these leggings to a lot of my clients who do not have Lymphedema, but need help to keep fluid moving better. The fact these are designed and tested on athletes and are available to the general public is a big deal in my world. It is even better that your research and the graduated compression means many third party insurance companies help cover the cost for some people! Keep up the good work.
So I'm physically disabled and have mobility issues. 3 days after my pair arrived I had to get a cortisone shot and it turns out I'm allergic to it. Oops. Anyway so my entire body got massively inflamed, swollen, and held so much fluid it was physically painful. The compression on these leggings was consistent and comfortable enough that for 2 days straight it was the only thing I could wear that provided relief. It was so successful at managing that flare of pain that I'm planning to buy more pairs after next pay and have enough to wear every day in case of emergencies! If you're also physically disabled and need a good compression garment that goes over the entire leg and hip, this is the product to go for. I had surgery and my surgeon recommended these leggings. I needed to wear them for 3-4 weeks. Overall I found them great and something that I could wear comfortably and just wear as regular leggings. However, they don’t have the best cut at the waist and they do slide down. They also didn’t have pockets which when these are your only pants for a month it’s a little annoying.
I was looking for effective compression garments for Restless Leg Syndrome and an alternative to those ugly beige contraptions. These are fantastic, they provide plenty of relief, they’re comfortable and can be worn like any activewear. Incredibly happy that I ordered these. I’m 5’4” and found the length perfectly fine, not too long and not pulling on the foot. I would love to see these with a wider band like some of the mild compression 2XU’s have.
I’ve had these for over 6 months, and when my blood is pooling in my legs, it can really help with my venous return. They wash well, and are dry really quickly.I wear these under my clothes, so that partly explains the next point I guess. The reasons that I’ve only given 4 stars are these - the bands on the upper knee rub off after about 2 months of use (almost daily). They ONLY JUST fit my leg length (5ft 10in with a 32-34in inside leg). I do have a little bit chubby legs (not like the model), which I understand will affect the fit, but still, I would struggle to see anyone longer in the leg using these. They can make you a bit cold (as they have a lot of lycra/rubber in), as they will cool off as soon as a breeze hits you. Again, I’m using them for PoTS, and I get cold easily. Also, word of warning - you will get the soup sweats putting these on! Make sure you have a bed and no audience, as it’s not a pretty sight!!Overall, they are pretty good. Not quite worth the price tag - but they have been the only compression legging I could find that even remotely help my condition - so that makes them worth it to me!
I have chronic swelling in my lower limb due to mild lymphedema. Purchased a pair of compression tights to help with my activity goals and was amazed at the reduction in swelling and fatigue. The back of my knees are sensitive (medical-grade stockings tend to cause irritation), but I can wear these tights every day because they are so comfortable.
