I use this to lubricate hinges (boot, hatch, bonnet, doors etc), car door lock mechanisms, window guides, movable linkages etc. I find that less effort is required to open and close doors, bonnets, hatches etc after application. I apply this once a year, but I should probably apply it more often, like once every 6 months.

Terrific product
12 June 2020

Are used this product on my rolling glass & screen doors. It works instantly and is fantastic. It works instantly and is fantastic.WD40 Is an amazing product but it doesn’t do the job on roller doors that the 3-in-1 silicon does

The name says it all
16 June 2020

Bought this couple Weeks ago my can of WD40 was finally empty and I decided to try something elseI actually bought 2 cans the silicone spray I have used it before so bought it again I can use it on the hair clippers and beard trimmer works well has a citrus smell unlike WD40 so if its going through my beard or what's left of my hair I don't get that WD smell lol its also handy for a lot of uses around the house it also doesn't wash of as easy great for skidding doors and screen doors and locks I just use it like the WD40 I also bought a can of another brand and haven't used it yet I'll review it after for the price give it a try you'll be surprised just use it in a well ventilated place it's after all silicone

Totally Disappointed
22 September 2019

The product I was supplied (online purchase) did not come with the smart straw as illustrated but with a standard stick in nozzle straw that does not fit. This severely reduces the ability to use the product in any tight spaces do not suitable for my needs. I feel cheated.

Tried using silicone spray for caravan aerial
22 February 2022

Silicone spray is recommended for the mechanical parts of a wind up Wineguard aerial on my caravan. I sprayed toe gears and then tried to wind the aerial up and down. I do not recommend this product as it did not work. I ended up using hydro seal.

Works every time
6 August 2020

It was suggested I use Silicone spray on my windows to keep them running smoothly. It has also been used on my sliding glass doors, door handles and lots of other little otherwise not working properly areas. This is the 2nd container of Silicone Spray I have purchased and now would not be without it. Better than WD-40 (of which I have an equal supply) in lots of instances.

fix sticking electric windows
20 January 2020

I was given the tip to use this on the tracks of electric windows on my car..I noticed that it seemed to take the load off the motor sliding it up and down easier..Do it twice a year and save on repairs..dont over do it on tinted glass perhaps as I amunsure as to how it may affect tint..all at your own risk
