Hey! Pikmin obviously wasn't and still isn't Pikmin 4, but it was a decent attempt. In Hey! Pikmin you'll control the spaceman, Captain Olimar, and side-scroll through many levels with your trusty companions- The Pikmin. The game certainly looks very nice, and the soundtrack is decent as well. But It just wasn't a step forward for Pikmin at all, like the other 3 entries were. It still provides a fun experience, but not the one we're looking for.

A must have 3DS exclusive for any RPG fans. Very reputable developers.

I originally played this game around release and had high hopes that it would be a memorable 3DS JRPG. I was not disappointed. The developers Grezzo are also responsible for titles like The Alliance Alive and The Legend of Legacy. Both of which are solid titles I also highly recommend. The music and graphics make good use of the 3DS' capabilities. The controls and battle system is quick and fairly simple all happening in real-time. It also has a weird yet satisfying city-builder mechanic as you progress through the story. The only complain I would have is that it doesn't come with a manual but the average pricing is more than fair at the time of writing.

Gameplay is pretty good. The gameplay loop is super addicting. The game has way more to it than I originally thought. Glad I made the purchase.

Game was in great condition. Glad it was at least in a generic case so I have a place to put it until I can get a replacement case. Works well even after 10 hours of gameplay.

Great cross between Zelda & Animal Crossing

Gameplay is split between adventuring through puzzley/combat dungeons and managing the and economy of your oasis and the happiness of its residents. Both systems are fun and engaging. Graphics are cute and fun. The Middle East-inspired setting is unique and fun to explore.

Happy grandson

This is the game one of my grandsons had been wanting for some time. I gave this to him before leaving on vacation, and he was thrilled. He played it most of the way to the beach, and then every chance while in the condo. He never wanted to put it down and was so happy when he would reach a new level. A definite hit with him.

I’ve known about the game

I’ve known about the game but I’ve never really played it so I wanted to try it out and I enjoyed it. I will be buying past pikmin games as well in the future.

More Pikmin!!!

Another fun game with Pikmin, but this is not like the games for GameCube and Wii. This plays more like the side-scroll games with Mario Bros where you have a world make and you go from one area to the next, clear and area and move onto the next. Of course, if you don't find everything, you can always run the area again! It has a lot element that Pikmin fans will recognize, like the strengths and weaknesses of the different type of Pikmin. Lots of fun, lots of Pikmin!!

Out on a limb

I went out on a limb and picked this up with no prior knowledge of it. It wasn't my cup of tea no fault of its own. I'm sure this game is great for the right person and after I put about 5 or 6 hours in I had zero interest in it honestly. What I'm saying is, if it looks fun to you definitely pick it up but if you're not into cutesy games maybe pass or look up more info than just going for it.
