Genuine 3M N95 with vent valve. We used these all of the time for years prior to the pandemic due to allergies and daily exposure to hay dust. If you need to wear a mask and have to exert yourself, you definitely want the N95 with the vent.Thankfully, I bought some of these in Jan 2020, but was running low and could not get them anywhere until Jan 2021 when I found them at Lowe's. Price was much more reasonable than anywhere else, if you could even find them. Pre-pandemic price was $11 a box and now it is $22 at Lowe's which I consider a bargain.

Very cheap quality for the price. Before Covid Lowe’s sold 20 mask for $19.99. Now 10 mask for $28.00. I don’t need to wear this type mask to prevent breathing dust. Bring the old mask back not N95. I’m sure it is corporate greed from 3M. and Lowes.

I was removing multiple layers of paint from 120 year old molding to be able to re-stain. Between the coal dust and plaster. Mask was turning black. Along with all the sanding I did I could still breath at the end of the day. Let alone keep all that garbage out of my nose and lungs.

Disclaimer: "Don't use in 'harmful environments'??? Why else would you need to wear a mask???? I think anyone would agree that the only reason to purchase a mask like this would be for protection against breathing in harmful air in a "harmful environment."However, the disclaimer (bottom) says "Don't use this mask in a 'Harmful environment'" or you could die! Why would you want to purchase something when the manufacturer of it says that it is not fit for the purpose for which it is being sold?
I've been rotating the same 4 or 5 N95 masks for MONTHS when I used to use maybe two per WEEK! When are companies like 3M going to start producing enough masks so they can be prioritized for workers on the front lines of building and remodeling your houses and offices and not just those on the front lines fighting Covid-19 wherever that is happening. Please watch for mesothelioma and other respiratory illness to spike once this whole Covid-19 thing is over OR start making enough masks to go around PLEASE.
These mask do not hold their shape after 1 day of use. If you are reusing them to extend the life of the product as allowed by and in accordance with guidelines by the CDC due to the pandemic, they won't provide a sufficient seal after 2 uses. They won't pass a fit test after a couple of uses. Aside from that, the vent makes them comfortable for breathing. These are verified on the CDC website but are over priced. Still better cost than most masks elsewhere. Lowell's was delayed in delivery, if you don't need them right away, this is a good online purchase
These are really good quality masks, it’ll protect you from COVID but won’t protect others due to the valve. You’ll find it hard to get into health facilities with it. It’s not COVID approved due to the valve.Overall good mask for work with and home cleaning. I do pesticide and deep clean my property with these on. It works really well. Valve works well and keeps air cool inside the mask.
I bought this mask since we do a lot of DIY work at home and it always worked well for us. It’s very reliable and very comfortable to use. It doesn’t feel very tight and the filter works really well. I highly recommend this for a lot of reasons and definitely would buy again as needed.
The masks are good. My husband is using them to protect his lungs from.insulation particles as he’s insulating the attic.
It fits my face and seals very well. I hate the ear loops of some and love the over head strap for these, The cool vent really does cool, unless it's taped shut. I exercise with these when the path is dusty or high pollen count. They are great for mowing and chopping leaves. They knock down mold spores. I wear them until they are nasty with dust or sinus drainage. I've used this product successfully for years.
