3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 650

Respirator has same seal quality as all other 3M products, with the advantage this one has the latch that makes it so easy to remove without having to totally dismount the mask. Very convenient specially for users with glasses.

I’ve used this dust mask for woodworking for years. It finally wore out ( clip broke off) after 7 years so I replaced it with the same one.

Another great respirator from 3M

Fits well. Comfortable for long periods. Quick latch release is great when you need to talk frequently, as when demonstrating a technique. The filters I have for my 7500-series mask (which I also love) all fit this mask as well. Good to have easy access online to the small size; few stores carry a small size and the right fit is imperative for full protection.

Arrived early!

The mask is great! Light weight and easy to use. I have a tiny pinhead and the small fits well. There was a rubbery smell to it, but that completely disappeared after I washed it with soap and water. I had another half face respirator, but it was much heavier, and harder to take off and put on. The whole thing had to come off if I wanted a drink of water. The early arrival during Covid was a bonus. Came in sealed packaging with all the spec sheets.

Great Mask

This is an awesome mask. I am a welder and I work in a pretty contaminated environment. The best thing about this mask is obviously the quick release. I don't have to take off my hood, or any of the other safety items I have to wear, in order to talk to someone, or get a breath of fresh air. Would highly recommend for welders or for folks who work in an industrial setting. Stay safe y'all.

Great safety equipment if you love your lungs!

After too many years of woodworking and leaving my shop with a dust-induced cough, I finally decided to get a respirator. This mask is very comfortable to wear, even with safety glasses and earmuff headphones. It's lightweight and doesn't chafe or pinch anywhere. I appreciate the quick-release lever too for getting a quick drink or stopping to have a conversation. I recommend this to anyone who works with wood or MDF and creates lots of dust! I have medium to large sized face and head, and the medium mask fits me just fine.

Large size comfortable for me

I bought a medium mask for the shooting range as I sometimes found myself coughing from the smoke, even in an open air range, and was concerned about inhaling lead particles. I don't consider myself a large guy but found the medium size mask rather tight on my nose - maybe my nose is too big. Anyway, no problem the medium sized mask fits my wife, who I had earlier assumed would need a small size. Living in a warm climate, the mask does get a bit hot outside but I can hardly smell the gun smoke and have no more coughing after a session at the range. The quick release on this model is worth having. Would prefer it if the particulate filters were a more neutral color that went with the mask instead of shocking pink but thumbs up for this product.

Never thought I'd wear a mask - Until Now!

I purchased the 6500 QL based on a recommendation from a friend. The mask is comfortable, easy to use and I love the quick-release feature. I wear glasses and the quick release allows me to easily fit the mask to conform to my glasses. Highly recommend!

Works great once you get one which fits.

The biggest problem with ordering a respirator online is that you can't fit test it. I first ordered a small based on 3Ms recommendation which is based on height. The small turned out to be too small so I ordered a medium. The medium fits just fine. It seems to me that measuring the distance from the bridge of your nose to your chin would be a much better basis for fit recommendation than height.Now that I have a respirator which fits, I'm very happy with it. It's quite comfortable and fits well under my Hobart Impact Black welding helmet. The flip-down feature might be useful for talking to people but I find it more useful for enabling me to quickly dry the condensation out of the respirator. comfotable and convenient

This one actually is a little smaller than the 6000 series model on the inside just enough for a better seal on the face and not encumber your breathing. The handle is extremely convenient and the head strap is adjustable enough to accommodate virtually any head size (even my 20.5 inch circumference cranium). I also notice less sweat and condensation build up than the 6000 series too. I am quite pleased with this product and highly suggest it. Due to the bottom breath vent this mask helps control any fogging issues in my welding helmet as well.
