Instahut 3M Umbrella Base Outdoor Cantilever Navy

Absolutely love my new cantilever umbrella! Great quality, easy to put together, most impressed. The only fly in the ointment was a courier company who kept it in their depot for 6 days before delivering. Grrrr 😠

Product ordered 2nd DecemberOn 16th December only the base was deliveredThis umbrella is needed desperately for Christmas Day.I have spent hours trying to contact you by email & phone. Have waited on phone so many times after being advised it would be a 9 minute wait but after 21 minutes told no one available ring later then they hang up! Have left my number 'would you like a call back? have left my number on numerous occasions. No one has ever rung me back! Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I still don't have my umbrella for Christmas Day?

Pretty good all-rounder. A bit big for our alfresco area but has worked out well in the end and is going to make it much cooler in summer with shade sail one end and cantilever umbrella the other. Even with weights to.hold down, we have used ratchet straps to tie down as our suburb is in aow lying area and can get quite windy.I do recommend. Will look nice with our new little 2seat + table combined wicker set we just purchased from My Deal.

Great umbrella. Easy to set up and great size for our backyard. Comes with a very sturdy stand, so very secure. Money well spent.

I have no shade at all in my back yard so even on days when it’s in the low 20’s the sun is so hot that I can’t be outside. This umbrella has a much larger canopy than I realised & it has been wonderful to now be able to enjoy my backyard & do some gardening that desperately needed doing. It has really been a life changer. The colour & quality of the umbrella is fantastic, the shade of navy blue on the canopy is absolutely beautiful & this is coming from a person that’s not a huge navy blue fan, it looks so impressive when it’s up & I've had a few comments from friends & family who also think it looks stunning. The structure of the stand is really strong & sturdy & the fact that this included the 4 weighted base pieces that we simply filled with water made the purchase a really affordable one as the weighted base pieces are quite pricey to buy separately. I’ve had fabric weight bags in the past but they can be quite messy whereas the sturdy plastic weighted base pieces are easy to clean & keep looking nice. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I did need help putting the umbrella together, it’s really a two person job. I’m really happy with the choice I made & I couldn’t recommend it more. I would advise that you buy a waterproof cover for the canopy as it protects it well.

The base does not sit properly on the umbrella frame nor do the nozzles discreetly hide away like the picture has shown. Contacted customer support and they couldn’t care less and said it’s like the picture. Wasted my Christmas bonus on an unattractive item which was misleading with its photographs & worse customer support couldn’t care less. Definitely don’t recommend the site or it’s products to anyone

Slightly disappointed as even in mild wind seems very flaky and unstable plus the movement of the umbrella is very annoying. It's almost great when little to no wind is happening but that's not always the case so have to keep closing it to prevent it from breaking it. I can't see this lasting long time.Positives are it's definitely a good size umbrella and stable with the base.

Fantastic coverage in calm conditions, ideal over a pool.

Great coverage but in windy conditions will turn from centre post and you cannot stop it from turning due to the huge umbrella. The base is very sturdy once filled with water but the bolt on plate to base is a little thin. In calm conditions its brilliant, love it. In a way its good it turns when windy or the plastic lock mechanism would break.

Many THANKS

Poor quality

We only purchased this 2 months ago and already it has faded, base took an extra 10 days to arrive so couldn't use it for xmas day as it needs a base when open or it tips.Only great thing is the coverage. Customer service was horrible to deal with when calling to find out about the delay in the base when purchased together.
