42 Bottle Timber Wine Rack Storage Cellar Organiser

Looks really lovely, absolutely horrific to put together. The instructions are not specific enough for the base, paired with the 200+ individual pieces required to complete assembly, make it really time consuming. There are two different lengths for the base, which is not specified clearly. Make sure you use the longer length for the height and add the wooden pieces to the sides first to hold the frame together before trying to assemble the remainder of the frame. Instructions need a major overhaul.

Cannot fault the purchase and delivery process, however the end product is awful. Putting this together very carefully takes a while but that is not the issue. There are discrepancies with the angles and cuts in the timber pieces, which when fully put together mean that the product is twisted and curved and totally unacceptable to be out on show. i am fastidious in trying to be really accurate as i went along, but very early on i noticed bowing and twisting in the metal lengths. I corrected what i could and hoped that when everything was in place it would square it all up, but that didn't happen. i do have a functional wine rack, but it is bowed in the middle and twists slightly so that it looks terrible. if i had paid $50 this would still not be acceptable. Great wine rack once you know how to build it. It does take time and it does take patience to build, but once built it is very sturdy.Package was short a few joiners but the company was prompt in replying to me and replacing the joiners.

We bought three of these to make a small wine cellar. They were a bit tricky and time-consuming to put together, but the cost saving made that more than worthwhile and the finished product looks really excellent.

Excellent Quality for the price

I was concerned it my be a second or poor quality but mine is excellent. Well packaged (it might be a bit heavy for some people). Every piece of wood was fine - surprising for pine. No loose knots or splintery pieces - all good quality well machined and very accurately cut pine. Only possible criticism is a few pieces of wood where cut at an end of the original timber and did not have as clean a end cut as all the cut pieces. I just put these few facing the wall.

Fiddly to assemble but OK once done

Pretty good once assembled but be prepared to put some time aside. Very fiddly. Also noticed a picture of this rack being wall mounted in the marketing material - the instructions give no hint as to how you might do this safely.

Great concept

good concept - very tricky to assemble. Not for the faint hearted - this takes a lot of work to assemble and even then to get it square. The end result for us was a unit that had a bend in one corner - it worked well but we couldn't be bothered fiddling with it to get it square. It holds all the wine and that is what we wanted it for.

Nice rack, good size but challenge to construct.

Good size wine rack but took a number of hours to put together. Limited instructions, requires two people + rubber mallet to put it together along with a lot of noise which is difficult in an apartment when you work long hours. Difficult to get the finish I had envisioned as the wooden pieces are not perfect resulting in a slight warping of the rack/doesn't sit flush on the floor. If I had the choice again would have bought a pre constructed version.

Great DIY project with smart design

Solid, easy & looks good - but not as flexible

Good product, solid & str8 4wd to put together. Just not as flexible as some others that u can put into various shapes, etc - this 1 has to be 8x9. So if ur after that squarish shape wine rack then all good.
