Its a great book for those people who want to get away for a day, or more. The book is easily laid out and the content is a good level between detailed enough to do it right and not overwhelming. The maps are low detail, so the responsibility is on the user to ensure they have adequate GPS or adjoining maps - which the book also details in the instructions.

Its a great book for those people who want to get away for a day, or more. The book is easily laid out and the content is a good level between detailed enough to do it right and not overwhelming. The maps are low detail, so the responsibility is on the user to ensure they have adequate GPS or adjoining maps - which the book also details in the instructions.

Wasn’t sure how useful this would be but honestly I’d say it’s a must have book for anyone. Pair it up with a good GPS app on your phone, study the “how to use this book” section at the start and you’re set. On their website you can also find downloads of the tracks as gpx files, waypoints etc which makes it really easy to use. Will be getting more of their books for sure. Just remember, track conditions can change especially after rain. Always go prepared
Great book for 4wd around Sydney if you dont know anyone or where to start. Everyone should have it.
Found out about this from an off-road forum, I know my local tracks well but this gives plenty of detail to go further afield. Well laid out, nicely planned and will be sitting in my map pocket from now on
This book is very comprehensive, has all the information you need to go off road with the family or your mates. So good I bought my mate one too.
This is a great book with lots of detailed information, GPS coordinates, maps and photos. Highly recommended if you are interested in camping and going off-road and has plenty of tips to assist you to stay safe.
This is a book that helps the timid Sydney sider to get into enjoying the 4wd opportunities that are close to Sydney. The detailed description, route plans and facility listings for each trek provides confidence in taking the journey. Scaling in difficulty enables the novice the opportunity to ramp up in skills and confidence to tackle more complex treks. Great book to get you up and running and enjoying the bush close to Sydney. Get the bug and start to enjoy what your 4wd was made for....enjoy!!
This is a wonderful reference book for beginners to four-wheel driving through to those who are more adventurous. It is easy to follow. It is very helpful, contains great advice and extra contacts.We have already completed one of the treks and are looking forward to doing another.
