I love the way the Stryke pants fit and have been wearing them for a while now since we switched over to this brand, but I’m finding that they only last about 3-4 months even though all wash instructions have been followed. It doesn’t matter if I buy the bigger size or the size below. They always rip from the inner thigh area. Since they do have stretch, I’m finding that the elasticity is what gives out while the actual seam is still intact. I work in both indoor and outdoor environments. I currently have three pairs of pants I’m looking at cause now I have to throw them away. Very hard when they are $80 a piece. I’ve sewn several pants back together to make them last a little longer.

This is my second pair of Stryke pants and third pair of 5.11 pants. The first pair held up to several years of camping and working as a hiking guide in Utah but they're not looking so new anymore so I needed a new pair to wear to work. The fit is great, they are slightly large in the waist, but most pants fit me even looser in the waist. There is plenty of space to wear long johns underneath and I can climb, bend, flex any way I want. They are warm in winter, repel water and stains and are durable for sliding over rocks and crawling over sticks.I can hold so much junk in the pockets: food, lighter, phone, monocular, etc. It's really hard to find practical women's pants that have pockets and durable fabric. Many of my customers notice them and ask where they were ... MoreThis is my second pair of Stryke pants and third pair of 5.11 pants. I have been purchasing these pants religiously for the last 2 years. I am a short female with curves. These are the only uniform pants I have found that fit my backside. I am thankful for the stretch in the fabric. That said, I have to replace them every 2 months or so because they rip at the seams in the crotch/thigh area. I thought this may be due to my fat thighs, however I see other reviews with the same complaint. Reinforcing the crotch/thigh area in my opinion would be a huge improvement especially with the cost of these pants. If they were around the $40-$50 range I would not care so much.I also noticed other reviews complaining about the side of the zipper. I too noticed the change and found it weird and unnatural. I even double checked to make sure I did ... MoreI have been purchasing these pants religiously for the last 2 years. I am a short female with curves. I dislike the new zipper configuration. It zippers on the left side. Mens pants don’t zipper left either so not sure where this idea came from.I wore them before realizing that it was different. It is not ideal if you have to go to the bathroom in an emergency.I would like to switch them for an old style. Now I have brand new pants that I don’t like to wear. I go back to wearing my older, more worn out pair over wearing newer replacement pants! Out money due to an engineering flaw.
I wear these all the time and have multiple pairs. I work outdoors in all types of weather and have a very physical job. I've put these pants through the wringer and have yet to rip or damage any of them after literally years of wear. They are awesome. I'm 5'10" and always have trouble finding pants that are long enough but these are! I have two pairs that have weird manufacturer irregularities (backwards fly closure on one, and another pair has one leg smaller) but I still wear both, and otherwise they have been great. These are regular rise, no stretch and fit small so size up for sure.
Finally! A company that makes a style and fit for us petite women! It's an act of GOD to find a 0/24 and low rise. I'm 43 years old, 5'0" and roughly 98lbs. Aside from being petite, I also have a short torso and even mid rise pants ride way to high up into my rib cage. Thank you, thank you, thank you. These pants are my go to for everything outdoors. From training to the range, camping to hiking, these pants handle it all. I love the durability and comfort of the material and all the pockets. My only complaint is the side cargo pocket is very, very tight and difficult to get into, but at least I know once something is in there, it won't be falling out!
These have been my "go-to" for many years. I purchase a new pair several times a year, and they have always been consistent...until now. The material is much thicker and the fly is reversed (fly closes right over left). After 10 years of muscle memory putting on 5.11 tactical pants, now the button has changed sides? I thought it would be no big deal but it changes the entire fit of the pants. And if you wear a gun belt...good luck. No mention of the change anywhere and the photo still shows the fly closing properly (left over right). I reached out to customer service but have not heard back. I would pay twice the current price for the previous version of these pants - they were that good.
The first 3 pairs I purchased ripped in the thigh and crotch area within 8 months of having them. I wear these pants almost everyday. I thought maybe I didn’t get the right size so I bought 3 new pairs in a size up. These 3 new pairs, which were used for the same reason, all ripped in the thigh and crotch area within 6 months of having them. I have had to sew up each pair since having them and they continue to rip in the sewed up places and new places. I have to wear these pants for work so I don’t really have a choice. I think for the price of these pants and the poor quality, I don’t think they are worth it. Im very upset with the quality and I refuse to purchase new pairs.
These are the most comfortable uniform pants I’ve ever owned. They stretch in all the right places and are not too heavy. BUT out of the 2 pairs I’ve ordered, both fit completely different. Both a size 12 Long. 1 pair is perfect in length and the other is too short. The pair that fits is AMAZING. The most annoying thing about these pants is the zipper and buttons are on the wrong side! Did the company really have input from women on these pants? The zipper alone tells me it was minimal. From reading the reviews it seems like they’ve forwarded several complaints about this to the “appropriate department” but yet the sizing and zipper issues have not been addressed.
I have been wearing the Stryke pants for years, loving the comfort and cut. HOWEVER, the new ones I purchased are completely different from my old ones. They did not have that stretchy panel in the hip pockets I am used to, they ran almost two sizes smaller, and the zipper/snap are on the wrong side. My old size 0 fit perfectly at work yesterday, but a size 2 was too small on me today. I always spend the extra to get Stryke instead of the regular style to ensure I have those flexible panels at the hips for easier movement- I paid the price but the panels aren’t there?!? Sadly pretty dumbfounded by all these horrible changes.
