528 DVD 1116 CD Storage Shelf Media Rack Stand Cupboard Book Unit Oak

This unit is just perfect for my DVD's or CD's. It came with stacks of shelves so you can change how you set the unit up to fit whatever you want to put in it and it is only half the depth of a bookcase so it takes up less space. The unit was really quite easy to put together by myself, though you do need a large floor space to do it. I ended up purchasing 2 of these for my own DVD collection and later another 2 for my mum's DVD collection. The units look stylish and the only downside to these is that because they are narrow and tall, you really do need to attach it to the wall at the top (parts are supplied to do this) as it does wobble a bit. But overall, loved these units and would definitely buy them again.

Fantastic media shelf

Very glad I read other reviews before purchasing. The parts arrived in 2 separate parcels on 2 different days, and had some damage to the outer boxes of both which was concerning, but the internal contents were unharmed. We followed the instructions as-is until the part where you attach the bottom - at this point we very carefully turned it on its side (with extra hands holding the unsecured shelves so they wouldn't snap off), attached the bottom (which juts out further than the top - hence doing it this way), and then stood it upright and hammered the back on. Was straightforward to attach to the wall (having never done it before!) and rearranging the modular shelves is quick and easy. Flimsy design, broke during assembly

I would advise against buying these shelving units. Very flimsy design and is unlikelyto survive a single house move. I bought two of them and the second one broke in the middle during assembly. The remaining one is very rickety and I'm now seeing it as a temporary furniture item. Save your money.

Great for the price

Ordered on Sunday, received first parcel Tuesday and Second Wednesday to a regional location.Definitely need some flat pack skills to assemble, take the time to understand the instructions before starting. Lightweight chipboard needs careful handling during assembly but great for the price. Definitely recommend this product but suggest 2 person assembly. I assembled face down on packers so we didn’t have to turn it to put the back on to avoid problems with stress on joins.

Great product for serious dvd collectors

Comes in two separate flat pack boxes. No instructions, but pretty simple to put together (need two people though). When you lay it flat on it's front side so you can nail the back on, we used small stacks of the drawers (six together) and put them at the top corners and middle each side underneath to keep it level and take the weight which worked perfectly. Good product that does the job for any serious dvd collector, plus it looks great.

Must Be Carefully Assembled

You get what you pay for.Instructions as to how to stabilise the unit during construction is insufficient.I powered ahead...and did not adequately account for and think thru whereleverage points might fail. Yes one join did break. However I was able tofix it. I am reasonably happy with the completed unit.Though if you buy this....understand when you are putting it together...todo so with extreme caution....and make sure the completed unit is nearbyto where it will be installed.

Perfect DVD/CD/Games storage

I bought this cabinet last year after realizing we needed a better storage solution for our DVD collection. It is easy to assemble, slimline and now we can easily find any title without having to shuffle through hundreds of titles piled up in drawers or deep shelving. It doesn't take up much space at all and is so good we have just bought another one to house our ever growing library.

Poor quality and near impossible returns

The Artiss bookcase, dvd case is of poor quality, when building the top and bottom parts join together on lifting from laying on the floor the centre fittings and joint pull out, break and damage the back board and shelve in the middle. Instructions also lacking details. Trying to return a damaged unit and a unopened boxed unit through Bunnings Markerplace is next to impossible as buyer pays return courier cost at $100-$140 so you just give up . Just don’t buy anything from Bunnings Marketplace especially Artiss furniture.

Used as Narrow Bookshelf

We had too many books and not enough space. I was looking for ages to find something to fit in our hallway that would work for novels/paperbacks. This was actually perfect and I bought two. I was worried that the wider foot would be annoying, or be a trip hazard, but it's been no problem. The shelves are adjustable to any configuration, moreso than the pictures. Very happy with it. 4/5 because, well, it's made of chipboard, but much stronger than most of that kind!

Weetbix is stronger than this don’t waste your money on this landfill

Chipboard is worse than if it was made out of weetbix.Screws come straight out, same with the anchors and anchor locks.Laminate comes pre chipped all over, edges and around all the holes is the worst. The laminate also has sections which look like cancer, super rough like it got wet.I’ve built so much boxed furniture in my life and this is by far the worst quality I’ve ever seen.Instructions are terrible… 5A sorry there is no 5A anywhere in the instructions… nah the
