I can connect anything to it, but not all are supported, but thankfully I don't have that issue with my setup. It does offer limited control of connected consoles like Xbox and PS5, but in my use with my PlayStation 5 it was a little limited and didn't give any options to use the PS button functionality. I wasn't able to find it in my limited search, but since it wasn't something I would use often I researched it briefly.Where this TV drops the ball is using Tizen for the OS.My other TV is a 2018 55un8000, the input menu is way faster than moving back to a home screen and switching slow loading pages. All in all great TV held but held back by laggy software that try to bombard you with ads.

Just as most other OLED's the black is 100% black, and every dark scene is a pleasure to watch, but what surprised me a lot, was the tv's ability to upscale lower quality content from streaming providers. Of course, the best picture is with quality streams, but lower quality like Netflix standard, Viaplay and Max's new standard quality all gets decently scaled up, so much that you actually forget it wasn't 4K.The 2024 model's new screen coating is also worth a mention. According to other tests, it darkens the image a bit, but with OLED it is plenty bright anyway, and the benefits of the coating way surpass any negative effect. Even in bright daylight, there are no visible glares on the screen!Sound: The built-in speakers on the tv are decent considering the thickness of the tv. They will not give you any wow effect, but let's be honest, anyone that buys a big tv in this price range will also have dedicated speakers in their setup.Connections: The one-connect box has every connection option you will ever need. I connected my Surround receiver via HDMI, and it controls it perfectly via eARC. When I turn on my tv, it automatically turns on the receiver, and volume control works perfectly with the Samsung remote. I have not used my Surround receivers remote once since getting this tv.App capabilities: Samsung is the leader when it comes to built-in content apps. Previously I used a Chrome Cast for some streaming providers, but with Samsung, every app I need is supported native. The tv even comes with some nice promotions for some of the providers. To conclude, I am very pleased with this tv, and I can't imagine there will be any better alternative for years to come.

I bought the Samsung S95C TV a few weeks ago and I am absolutely blown away by its performance. This is the best TV I've ever purchased, and it's great for gaming and movies. The picture quality is stunning, with near-infinite contrast, vivid colors, and incredible brightness (1600 nits). The QD-OLED technology delivers a lifelike image that looks great from any angle. The TV very much feels like it throws colours on the wall like physical paint, which is surreal and immersive. It's like having a giant canvas in your living room. The TV also supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG formats, so you can enjoy the best of HDR content. The TV is also a gamer's dream, with a 144Hz refresh rate, low input lag, and AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro. I have a PS5 connected to the TV (getting 120hz on games that support 120hz :) and I have no issues and no connection drops or compatibility issues (working fine no issues with the original HDMI cable that comes with the PS5). I use a fiber HDMI cable, which I recommend for the best signal quality. You can watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=samsung+s95c+fiber+hdmi) for more information especially if for some reason you are experiencing issues. It has ALM (Low Latency Mode) - automatically detects when you connect a gaming console or a PC and reduces the input lag to the minimum possible. This means you can enjoy a more responsive and smooth gaming experience, without having to manually change any settings. The ALM works with any HDMI 2.1 device, such as the PS5, Xbox Series X, or a gaming PC. The ALM also works with older HDMI devices, as long as they support the ALLM feature. The ALM is a game-changer for gamers, as it eliminates any delay between your actions and the on-screen response. The TV has a maximum bandwidth of 40Gbps (the reason is because of the one connect box which is worth it very much), which is lower than the previous model S90C, but that doesn't matter because the TV can handle 4K at 144Hz, which is more than enough for any game with a strong gaming pc that supports this refresh rate. The remote control is also very smart and convenient. It can control the PS5 through ARC/eARC, and it has a solar panel on the back, so you don't need to worry about batteries. The remote also works with the Tizen smart platform, which has a lot of apps and features, including Samsung Plus, which offers free awesome content and full channels of everything. The only thing that the TV doesn't have is Dolby Vision, but that's not a big deal because Dolby Vision is just a branding format of HDR that apps adjust with kind of like as a protocol. The TV can still display amazing HDR quality with other formats.Another feature that I love about the Samsung S95C TV is the Filmmaker Mode. This mode preserves the original vision of the movie directors, by turning off any unnecessary processing and adjusting the picture settings to match the cinematic standards. The result is a more authentic and immersive movie experience, with accurate colors, contrast, and aspect ratio. You can easily activate the Filmmaker Mode by pressing the Menu button on the remote, then selecting Picture, and then choosing Filmmaker Mode.In conclusion, I would highly recommend this TV over every TV in the world that is available. It's a masterpiece of technology and design, and it will make you fall in love with your entertainment. Don't think too much, just go for it. You won't regret it.

This tv is a piece of absolute garbage. This is coming from someone who was using a 10 year old $500 TV and this one is absolutely inferior. It basically forces you to use premium services. If you try to screen mirror the aspect ratio is terrible, I've tried it on multiple devices (perfect screen mirroring on the old television.) When I turn my PS5 on it will switch to the ps5 as all tvs should but then it switches over the the completely and utterly useless gaming hub that I then have to go select my playstation 5 from the gaming hub to access it even though the source was just switched to it but the genius designed television switches you to the gaming hub directly afterwards. You cannot turn game mode auto off. I have turned auto off over and over and as soon as I turn on my ps5 the game mode turns on. So even if you turn it off it will just auto back on literally everytime you turn on the ps5 which is why the completely garbage gaming hub pops up. The operating system of this television is so bad beyond anything I could possibly imagine. Every other time I've spent a lot of technology I've been blown away with the extra features that I didn't expect. This TV has exclusively useless features unless you want to spend $15 per premium streaming service or else the "hubs" are just giant advertisement pages. I literally have like 14 buttons on my remote and 3 of them take me to a page to download a subscription service. It's an absolute joke this TV ended my positive feelings towards Samsung and I will be looking for other options for phones, tablets and TV in the future that's how absolutely terrible this TV is. Forget the image quality if it's filled with bloatware that has no option to be removed or even managed at all the settings are abysmal. I hate this TV ruined my weekend instead of making it awesome.
Samsung S90D television, an incredible TVI jumped in right away and got the QN55S90D as soon as I could, was excited to see what upgrading my TV would get me in 2024 and how a modern OLED tv would work in my situation. The quick summary is that I love this TV, I’m using it in a bright room and have none of the issues I thought I would have when using an OLED TV in my situation. There are many benefits, but to me the biggest surprise benefit is the off-angle viewing. I used to have an LED TV where I have this one, and never realized how much better the picture could look. There are many benefits, but to me the biggest surprise benefit is the off-angle viewing. I used to have an LED TV where I have this one, and never realized how much better the picture could look. Every day when I glance at it from the side, I’m still impressed with how good it looks. With the fantastic picture quality, the off-angle viewing, the easy to use wonderful gaming hub, and all the other advantages, I’m now planning to purchase a second much larger one for the living room. It’s a great television and a great entertainment hub.Installation and setup were easy and straight forward. The removal from the box was easy, but I recommend going slowly, the TV is very thin and use care to lift it only where directed to in the quick setup guide. The base was very simple to install and I like that Samsung gives you clips to route the power and signal cables around so the install looks clean and neat. After that it was turn on the TV, select the language and then scan a qr code with my phone to log into my account. My Samsung account already had all my services and apps in it, so I just used those for my new TV and I was done. A few picture adjustments I like to make and log in to a few TV apps I like to use and my TV was set up and ready to go.I tested it with streaming services to see how well it upscaled and was just blown away with how fast, sharp and clear the upscaling was across multiple sources and services. The sound from the TV was great and if I didn’t already have a sound system I probably would have not bought one, since the sound was good enough for me from just the speakers, but I have a sound system and so I am going to use it. But it’s not really necessary because to me the sound from the speakers was surprisingly good. The HRD/HDR10+ content I watched and the AI upscaling was really good, better than I would have imagined before I got this TV.I was planning on buying another console to use with this TV, to take advantage of the game features of this tv, the 144Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, game mode and so on, but then I opened up the gaming hub, connected my standard xbox controller via the Bluetooth 5.2 connection and with my game pass subscription I started playing my game pass games. I thought it would only handle simple games, since they were being cloud streamed but no, I was playing all of my games just like if I was on the console. Had a great time and loved it. Now just waiting to get in trouble from the better half because I have a Xbox controller sitting in front of “her” new TV.Just to summarize once again, Great TV, love the picture, love the gaming Hub, haven’t got to try to use the SmartThings hub yet, but will be setting that up when I can take myself away from gaming. I will be buying another larger one for the family room you can count on that.
The tv is very thin which is great for mounting on the wall and the bezel on the front is also very thin around entire tv. The base is located in the center of the tv which makes it easy to set on any entertainment stand and is a sturdy metal vs little plastic feet.Picture quality is awesome, the contrast between the bright colors and dark blacks is impressive, 4k looks noticeably better. The base is located in the center of the tv which makes it easy to set on any entertainment stand and is a sturdy metal vs little plastic feet.Picture quality is awesome, the contrast between the bright colors and dark blacks is impressive, 4k looks noticeably better. Sound quality was average for the sound coming directly from TV and not paired with a sound bar, but good for how thin the TV is.The Peak Brightness Limiter was most useful setting because we found the factory setting to be far too bright - we preferred setting to Off. I would also be concerned about potential for screen burn-in with Peak Brightness set to High (default). The Intelligent Mode was also helpful, adjusting brightness based on ambient lighting conditions. Blur and Judder Reduction was good (both set to 10) for when streaming 4k content, only judder we noticed was when the camera panned across (left to right, right to left) a highly detailed scene. Contrast Enhancer makes picture noticeably more vibrant, enhancing differences between bright colors and deep blacks. Color Booster did not seem to provide a more appealing color space, was turned off. Our overall preferred picture setting was factory settings with Peak Brightness turned off. Color and contrast are very good using factory default settings. Would have liked to see Sharpness setting have more effect on picture quality when adjusted, could only see differences when very close to the screen - no visible difference at normal viewing distance (8 ft). While watching 4k movies (especially animated CGI movies) the Depth Enhancer is noticeable and makes the picture appear almost 3D. We did go through the Smart Calibration process (which worked fine with iPhone 14), but found the picture very similar to Film Maker mode and overall color, contrast and brightness not as visually appealing as the Default settings with reduced brightness. The OS is very useful because there are plenty of apps all in one place as well as free content. The QD-OLED panel provides a very high quality picture, noticeably better than WOLED. Thinness of the TV is very attractive for wall mounting. Screen also seems to have better anti-reflection / anti-glare properties when compared to old TV (2012 Samsung). We are very impressed with the 55” Samsung S90D.
I've owned an OLED TV for around 5 years so my expectations were high. I (and my wife for that matter) were very used to the inky blacks that OLED TVs can deliver. The assembly of the TV itself onto the stand was a little tricky, you definitely require another pair of hands to ensure it is done safely. The one connect box is brilliant and allows you to connect all the devices you own that would usually find their home in the back of the TV into the external box. The TV allows you to mount this on the stand or use the included longer 2.5m cable to store it in your media cabinet/stand (like I did). The S95D is certainly capable of a much higher brightness level that that of my old OLED TV. The setup process was very quick - you just have to select your language and country, followed by connecting to the internet and then ideally logging into your Samsung account.BBC iPlayer and Channel 4 apps are missing, however upon contacting Channel 4 and Samsung, they confirmed that both apps are in certification and would be available in the near future. The best picture mode out of the box that requires very little or no changes is the film maker mode. I spent some time watching shows and movies with my family and found the picture to be very life like. Upon changing the picture clarity settings, I found the TV to handle motion such as football very well. The matte coating on the screen certainly is a game changer when it comes to enjoying an OLED TV in bright light. When it comes to gaming, the game mode has a brilliant action bar that allows you to do things such as enable minimap zoom and an overlay crosshair setting. The S95D supports every format and feature the PS5 is able to output. I was well aware of reported issues with previous iterations of the one connect box - such as signal dropping and I am more than happy to report that I didn't experience anything like this on the S95D.The speakers are some of the best built-in speakers I have ever heard on a TV, even my wife who was used to our external surround setup commented on how well it sounded. I also own a Samsung soundbar and was able to take advantage of the Q-Symphony setting which uses the TV speakers alongside the soundbar for improved clarity. The lack of Dolby Vision was the only thing I was a bit concerned about, but as a content consumer I can't tell the difference and I can't find one bad thing to say about the picture or the TV for that matter. A contender for TV of the Year 2024 for sure
It has been over a decade since we have updated the television in our audio/visual entertainment system. We have been evaluating newer television options to replace our old power-hungry plasma TV and decided to replace it with the Samsung QN55S90D. We have not been disappointed with the choice. The S90D has a beautiful full-width QD QLED display that provides outstanding visual presentation with its bright vibrant colors. Although the factory default settings provided outstanding video and audio, we used the easy to access settings options to optimize the display to our preferences. Although the factory default settings provided outstanding video and audio, we used the easy to access settings options to optimize the display to our preferences. In about 15 minutes of adjustments and testing we were able to get the system adjusted to our preference and are completely satisfied with the bright, crisp and bold colors when watching TV shows, movies, sports, concerts and other genres of programs. We also have found the Neo QLED 8K Enhancers provides an exceptional viewing experience. Most notably, when compared to our previous plasma TV, the programming appears much more three-dimensional and realistic. Characters seem to pop from the background more distinctly and adds depth to the visual experience. As a photographer I understand that yielding the most out of the raw input file depends greatly upon the ability to leverage the data and maximize its conversion into the final displayed product. Samsung has done an exceptional job of using its enhancer to maximize the available detail when displaying the programming resulting in much more detail within the elements of the displayed image. Truly impressive.Although one of the benefits which we were seeking with a replacement TV was to leverage our existing receiver and surround entertainment system, when watching streaming content on the QN55S90D, we have had the opportunity to listen to with the TV’s Dolby Atmos sound systems and have been impressed with the outstanding sound quality and experience. This capability provides us with options on leveraging the best audio experience in our entertainment experience. Finally, we had a limitation on our available TV size selection as we had an existing entertainment center with a power lift system for hiding the TV when not in use. The S90D met the need with its low-profile design and its easy to interface with mounting locations. The ability to connect to the steaming providers such as Disney+ is an added benefit we have not been able to leverage until now. I highly recommend the S90D.
Not what I was expecting from Samsung...at this price point at least! It wasn't a very good experience, however I removed only 1 star. In a very bright room with 4 double windows the picture quality, contrast and brightness it was incredible! On the downside in the dark the anti glare screen it seems to affect the brightness and the contrast by dimming. What I love the most is the TV panel, ultra slim, only a few mm thick and it looks brilliant on the wall! Samsung please include the slim wall mount next year. With the connect box no need to keep moving the TV from the wall each time you are connecting a new equipment!*Cons: The TV arrived late, then once arrived the box it was slightly damaged but luckily the TV it was fine. The unboxing it was a bit painful for a 77 inch TV you have to lift the huge box to get the TV out! Once opened the box I noticed the solar remote had a dent and the volume up button seemed a bit worn-out.The one connect box it was dusty, and back of the tv scratched, the front screen protection (pillow) it was offering only half protection. I don't know if the TV wasn't brand new or the QC team spend too much time on this unit but I am bit disappointed. On the other hand I was unable to register the 5 year warranty due to link registration not working and no support from Samsung whatsoever! TV is the top of the line from Samsung, I expect more than 12 months warranty! The connection port at the back of the TV is on the left and would be ideal for cable management if the port will be upright, also a channel to run the cable through would have been useful. No Dolby Vision this year either however the HDR 10+ its a substitute. The connect box has 10/100mbps ethernet port and Wi-Fi 5 which is a little outdated. If you look at the bigger picture with the ups and downs then considering erasing all the above issues, I would recommend this TV for gaming, but also excellent for your cinema room and more!
Jag öppnade precis lådan och måste säga att Samsung S93C är fantastisk. Ljusstyrkan är nästan för kraftig för vanlig TV-tittning, men för gaming på min PS5 är den helt oslagbar! Equipped with a Quantum Dot OLED (QD-OLED) panel, this TV strikes a perfect balance between brightness, contrast, and color vibrancy. It boasts peak brightness levels of over 1,000 nits, making it not only great for dark-room viewing but also incredibly effective in well-lit environments, surpassing many other OLEDs in handling reflections and ambient light. One ... MoreJag öppnade precis lådan och måste säga att Samsung S93C är fantastisk. It boasts peak brightness levels of over 1,000 nits, making it not only great for dark-room viewing but also incredibly effective in well-lit environments, surpassing many other OLEDs in handling reflections and ambient light. One of the most remarkable features is its gaming performance. Thanks to 4K resolution at up to 144Hz refresh rate, along with technologies like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Motion Xcelerator Turbo+, the S93C provides ultra-smooth gameplay with incredibly low input lag, which is essential for competitive gaming. The Multi-View feature is a standout for gamers, allowing you to play on your PS5 while simultaneously watching YouTube or other apps on the same screen. The TV is also built for immersive cinematic viewing with support for HDR10+ and HDR10+ Gaming formats. While it lacks Dolby Vision, its overall picture quality, thanks to Quantum Dot technology, offers vibrant colors and inky blacks that create a striking contrast in both gaming and movie modes. The Samsung Tizen 7.0 interface is smooth, user-friendly, and packed with essential apps and features, including voice assistant integration. The audio setup is equally impressive, with a 40W 2.1-channel system supporting Dolby Atmos. The sound is clear and powerful, with enhanced dialogue clarity and spatial audio thanks to Object Tracking Sound Lite and other enhancements. For those seeking to take sound to another level, it can also integrate with compatible Samsung soundbars using the Q-Symphony feature. In short, the Samsung S93C delivers everything from dazzling picture quality and rich sound to a seamless gaming experience. Whether you're a casual viewer, cinephile, or hardcore gamer, this TV exceeds expectations on almost every front. The only minor drawbacks are its high price and the absence of USB 3.0. But i gott it on a sale for 2000 euro so i am happy!
