If the computer does not recognize the memory it could require a UEFI upgrade.NEVER mix memory brands there can be problems with propagation delay and other memory bus timing problems in the north and south bridges leading to instability or lack of operation. Because each memory type manufactured can be designed differently having the same specs. Dont assume the memory implentation is the same for all brands

I got two of this as bundle sale with Ryzen 7600x. Fresh built system crashes on games like World of Tank and CSGO with error related with IGPU, which use system memory as VRAM. Tweak drivers, UEFI and system settings for several days. Bad bits are found in one of memory sticks using MemTest86. After getting a replacement from Microcenter, system is stable even with undervolt overclocking.It's becoming uncommon that memory has faulty bits in recent years regardless brands. It's necessary running full test on any new bought memory.Customer service of Microcenter is excellent. Easy local exchange/return is big advantage over online purchase PC parts.

It took me several hours to trace down problems with installing Windows 11 form USB, and the many BSOD I would receive after install,,, to trace root cause a bad memory module . Luckily, knowledge article suggestion to use only one memory module help me to pin point one is bad. Running on just one, I started over and re-installed W11 from USB no issues, and got all the drivers and Windows Updates installed without any BSOD. I plan to return and upgrade to better rated memory kit.

I received one stick of this memory as part of a Micro Center bundle and once I figured out how to automatically enable the correct timings (D.O.C.P.) on my Asus Z690-P WiFi board it has worked flawlessly! In fact, I went back to Micro Center and bought another stick to increase capacity to 32GB and run dual channel. So far, so good. No issues, fast timings and low latency. Don't hesitate if you have the Z690 Asus board.

Good value for that bundle price.I don't really know if its the relatively new commercial technology in DDR5 or what but I had issues getting this RAM running at its rated speed. It runs at stock speed (4800 MHz) with no issues. It's when I tried to make it run at its rated speed through XMP or EXPO for those on AMD, that I started having issues. In channels A1/B1, I was not able to get XMP working using the three or so different XMP settings without messing with timings or voltages - I did not mess with the timings or voltages because I didn't know what I was doing, but I guess in the manual for motherboard channels A2/B2 are recommended. Micro Center is the best!I wanted something a bit different but Micro Center was the only one that had a combo that was affordable! Amazons (Micro Center) was the next best with more options but still not as good as Micro Center itself!!!Trust me, because I searched the Internet and Micro Center was the best for over 6 months until I finally bought it.I don't have a clue what makes ram better, other than faster and more of it??? But like, if you had two sticks next to each other at the same speed and size. How can you tell if one is better than the other?
Was gambling for an A-die kit but most G.skil 6400 kits turn out to be M die lately which is a bit surprising. That said these are rather good bin M-die to run 6400 XMP, and they don't seem to be temperature sensitive either which is good. I have 13700k and Z790I, was able OC to run stable 7200mhz C34-45 @1.46V with relatively tight subtimings, which is pretty much among the better RAM settings for gaming unless you splurge and get an APEX and run above 8000mhz to have meaningful gains in games.If you ever caught these under $100 it's worth a try

Works fine on Intel or AMD and have been able to OC it to 6400 and tighten timings and extend TREFI for better latency and takes 1.43V no prob. Have not tried to push further but they may be fine. The White Version is NOT the same despite being similar spec (Ripjaws S5, 16GB/stick, 6000, CL30-40-40 vs CL36-36-36). The white one, despite having what seems like Hynix timings, is either a horrible bin or aomething else, its also Dual Rank (chips both sides vs only on one side like this kit) which may be causing the issue i had. Again not these, just fair warning theyre FAR different). This is a good deal open box for about 60-75$ for a low latency stable Ryzen OC at 6000-6400 and Intel the same. But if you want to push very high mem speeds approaching 8000 DEFINITELY GET HYNIX INSTEAD! If you need hi capacity go for 24Gigbit Micron.
Bought the "bundle" with a 13900k mobo and this ram. That set i got in that bundle (just grabbed from the shelf) constantly BSODs, mem leaks and so many issues. Both sticks cause problems, even running one or the other cause these issues.Had to do a re-install because after so many crashes it finally lead to corrupt data and windows at that point, even with new sticks, just refused to perform.
