Age Suggestion 9+

This dual pack of Lego Racecars comes with the GT3 & BMW Hybrid. There is a little man to sticknin each car for a driver as well. As with all small parts, they can be a choking hazard, so it is really important to keep these away from small children who could possibly choke on the Legos and smaller parts. The age suggestion on the box says 9. My son will definitely need help putting it together, but he is elated and can't wait to start working on it.This product was given on exchange for review.

Best of the early 2024 Speed Champions

I wanted to not like this set, as I think the current BMW front grilles are extremely ugly, but to my dismay this turned out to be my favourite of the newest drop of Speed Champions sets.The builds are both interesting and intricate, shaping the unique grilles employing many advanced techniques. The final builds themselves are also interesting to look at, both in the shapes and the splashes of blue, red, and white echoing the real liveries. Unfortunately you'll be placing something like 70 individual stickers to make the angles on those liveries work correctly, but it's hard to argue the end result isn't worth it.All in all, a great addition to the speed champions lineup!

Could be better. Stickers galore

I thought I’d like putting the GT3 together more than the other but the V8 was more enjoyable. Compared to other speed champions sets this was my least enjoyable. I don’t mind stickers but there are a ton in this set and you’ll definitely need a pair of electronic repair tweezers to get them on straight. Wish there was more attention given to the build than the stickers. I would not recommend for youglings unless they don’t care about stickers.

Incredible Building Experience

One of my favorite building experiences In recent memory. The way some parts were put together used techniques I had never seen before. I have built legos for more than 15 years, and building this set is easily a top 5 building experience for me. The colors are extremely vibrant, and both cars pop off the wall next to my other speed champions. A must-buy set for any speed champions or Motorsport fan. I hope more of these sets with two cars come out in the future.

So many stickers...

This set was a great build with a lot of unique and creative building techniques that put a lot of detail into the finished build. This is a common plus I see with the Speed Champions sets. The build is durable and looks great, but the one big issue I had while building it is that there were way too many stickers, and many of them had difficult or strange places to apply (sticker on the curve of the windshield or on the fin after already attaching it to the build). Additionally, these stickers often have design lights that cross over to other pieces, and so it was very difficult to get them to line up nicely. It would have been a much better building experience if more pieces were printed instead of being stickers.
