I have had cats all my life and as such have used quite a few different types of cat litter. This product is by far the best I have ever tried! It is truly worth the extra money because in the long run you end up buying less. The pellets don't absorb the urine and is absorbed into the pad which works like a baby's nappy. No mess, no smell. The pallets dry out the poos so all you need to do is scoop them out into a poo bag and dispose of. The pallets stay dry and clean! I cannot recommend this product more highly!! Simply the best on the market!!

These pellets are amazing for the first week but idk, after the second week they start to smell funky. Perhaps I have too discerning a nose or perhaps it is because I have a multicat household, but there are multiple litter boxes including a mix of Ezi Lockodour systems, wood pellet systems and clumping litter so it's not like it is taking the brunt of use. I also find the pads have a fragrant smell that when mixed with urine actually smells quite pungant, but only when you pull out the tray. I end up just replacing the pads with puppy pee pads, it's more economical and doesn't have that artificial smell. Overall the system does work well, the design is stylish for a litter box (I also got the XL from Petbarn) and definitely less messy (i.e no mess) when compared to ... Easily the best litter system (unless you're lucky enough to have a robot cleaner).If you don't yet have the system, buy the tray WITH hood, as the tray (lip) looks like it will contain the litter but it doesn't (maybe my cats are exuberant coverers), and last time I checked the hood wasn't available separately. That's the only negative (I have 4 systems & would love to get hoods).
They work great but in the kitty container they need at least 6 litres but I find them great and my cat and kitten used it straight away. Thank you no kitty litter through the house.
Cat who likes to wee on the carpet now used the litter exclusively! This has made such a difference. She does all her business in this tray. The clean up is easy and fuss free. I'm loving it and so is she.
I really like the dual layer litter system but it can easily be interchanged with other products. I've been swapping out the litter for paper litters and it works just fine (don't use small sized litters though they fall through the grates). These pellets are expensive and don't last as long as they claim and give quite a thin coverage out of one bag. The pee pads can also easily be interchanged for puppy pee pads or fleece liners.
I have tried every type of litter under the sun, and this is without a doubt the best system. There is no smell. The pellets last for ages! I cannot rave about this enough. Do yourself a favour and use this!
I have always used Oz Litter but started using Ezi Lockodour Pellets this year and the are definitely the best. No smell whatsoever. It is quite expensive but last so much longer. The pads are also expensive but now I don't use them, I just tip the pee down the toilet every day, I did use the pads at first and they are very good and last around 3 days......but as well as the expense I didn't like using for the sake of the environment.
