Going through menus in RPGs is a pain with this controller, BUT it can be fixed. With the software, you can disable directional inputs and only only up, down, left, right inputs, and that pretty much made the misinputs go away. Other than that, it is an amazing controller. For $50, its a steal!

What a amazing controller! Bought this to replace my old seam controller for my PC. This connects without any issue. This controller is ultra responsive and feels like a quality controller. The Software is simple and effective, I can't say enough about how much I like this controller! Fantastic!

I finally found a fantastic controller for under $60. There is nothing not to like. The controller feels solid, not plastic and flimsy. The weight is good. Not too heavy, and not too light.The dock works flawlessly. Just drop the controller in, and poof, it charges. And charges pretty quickly.Nice texture on the grips. It won't slide out of your hand.It took zero configuration. There is an app that I can install for further configuration, but it worked right out of the box without it.Not sure about the range. I only sit maybe 3 feet from my computer where the adapter is plugged in. So it works perfect.This is really the best gamepad I have had for my PC, well, maybe ever. To be honest, I might have paid $75 for this gamepad. Its that good
I really like this controller. It's a little smaller than the Xbox one controller but still feel comfortable to hold. I get a better connection with this controller than the Xbox one controller on my PC. For some reason the Xbox controller will sometimes stop working. No issues with the 8bitdo. The wireless connection is very good as well.
I dislike bad reviews but this one was no good out of the box. The left analog stick was defective on my unit and stuck the left side when used. I thought this was a great alternative to the big 3 companies controllers as it came with a charging station and decent features. Perhaps the Bluetooth model with the better analog sticks would have been a better purchase but getting a defective unit leaves a bad taste in your mouth that the quality control is just not up to par. Ended up getting an xbox controller instead. Used bluetooth for hookups and no problems. I had to buy a recharge pack but it does feel better than the 8bitdo ultimate (a little heavier).
Great controller for pc. Definitely better than the standard xbox controller. The battery life is amazing. The analog sticks alone are worth the purchase of this controller. If xbox ever has a controller with the same hal sticks as this one maybe itll be a tougher choice between this and the xbox controller . Until then however, this is the best controller for PC gaming.

This controller is really good for gaming on pc and switch. It has good grip and the back buttons are basically the cherry on top. The price is really good for this controller. Basically a more simple and cheaper version of a scuff tech.
Another reviewer had the same problem. Worked once then never again when connected to pc. Controller was connected to the PC. In the 8BitDo software all the buttons on the controller would register and pressing the home button would bring up the Xbox overlay but in multiple games the controller would not work after the very first use. I tried both wired and wireless with no success.
