I used minbie for my first child. He refused any other bottles and I was was also quite worried that if he did take to a bottle, he wouldn't want the boob anymore. Minbie worked a charm. I used it occasionally for my husband to feed him when I was working or out and he was very comfortable on my boob when I would still feed him. I am now expecting a second child and have prepared myself with a newborn bottle in case I have any trouble breastfeeding or I can't for any reason. I am confident my baby will still feed from my boob and drink properly. Love this product and recommend it to anyone!

I was so eager to try this bottle! My son is 1 month old and breastfeeds no problem, the issue is he does not like bottles or formula which naturally leaves me overwhelmed and unable to be cared for by anyone else. I have been trying other bottles (with assorted nipples, different flows) with no luck and then saw Minbie. I ordered and tried it right away hoping it was my answer. First off, he still did not like it. Second, although I used the Extra Slow nipple, the breastmilk dripped out so fast (without being in the baby's mouth, only held) I was unsure if it really was extra slow. Even with the XS nipple, held horizontally, it flowed way too fast. Bottom line, I'm confused, I thought these nipples were supposed to make the baby work at getting the milk out. It seemed to have a fast paced drip to me. Maybe because I warm up the breastmilk to body temperature, I'd hope that wouldn't matter.I gave 3 stars because I'm happy it works out so well for many others, the bottle is comfortable to hold and the idea of the nipple is sound; it does resemble a woman's nipple (not anything like mine unfortunately). I am bummed it did not work for my son.

I got this bottle out of desperation as my child had severe collic for thr first 6 weeks of his life. I read the reviews and was intrigued by the fact it was advertised as the best bottle for breastfeed babies. Tho the price was ALOT I thought it would be worth it if it helped. Well it did not, My baby can not even drink from this bottle. He can drink from 4 other types of bottle (including Medela, NUK,TT) I tried the high low flow and high flow nipples with no success. I emailed asking for help as to why he could not latch on this bottle nipple. They just replied you need to persist. So I did for 4 weeks every day and still he could not drink from this bottle but could drink from the others (I did not like using the other bottle tho as they seemed to make his colic ... MoreI got this bottle out of desperation as my child had severe collic for thr first 6 weeks of his life. Since birth my husband and I have been struggling to make bottle feeds painless and fuss-free. We have tried several named brands and they all resulted in screaming, spit up and bottle refusal. Listening to my husband do the last feed of the day was like torture, I was torn between my desire to not interfere and my instinct to “save” my baby!We tried the Minbie 3p teat and oh boy, what a difference!!! He latched straight away, drank with no fuss at all and went right back to bed with no spit up. This is totally a first for us, I was reluctant to believe the hype but you really lived up to it. You have saved our sanity! Thank you so much!!!
I had an opposite problem of baby refusing the breast as she got used to “lazy” sucking while we were in hospital and I wasn’t producing any breast milk. Any try to latch resulted in screaming! And while I already found my piece with pumping and bottle feeding, I didn’t like any of the regular bottles as the flow was too fast and baby would gulp 3 oz in 3 min resulting in chocking and spit ups etc. I tried many bottles, including medela brand that replicates breastfeeding with no success. I ordered Minbie because hey why not I already tried 10 different brands right:) The moment she took it I knew it was the most similar to breastfeeding as baby was screaming just as much as when I offered her a boob 🤣 The first couple of feedings were very tiring for her, 3oz took ... MoreI had an opposite problem of baby refusing the breast as she got used to “lazy” sucking while we were in hospital and I wasn’t producing any breast milk. Long story short, after a little practice she’s gotten so much better (and faster) at drinking her milk and as an experiment I decided to breastfeed and ohhhh miracle my baby took my breast and knew exactly what to do! I highly recommend to all moms who almost gave up on breastfeeding. Bring one to hospital just in case you need to supplement. While every baby is different and my experience is no guarantee of the future success, I think it’s worth a try. If everything else fails, this bottle provides close to breastfeeding experience with baby drinking slowly and steadily, giving you more time to snuggle with your little one when feeding.
I’ve fully breastfed bub from 0-7 months. We tried bottle feeding a few times in the beginning but it was too much work and felt like a waste of effort since I was just home with her most of the time anyway, and boob is definitely easier, so we just thought “let’s get her to try the bottle before she starts daycare”. Unfortunately, even though we’ve tried ALL the different teats and bottles from the shops and even ordered others from overseas, we had no success for almost a month. I was already back to work and she was miserable. She wouldn’t take any of the bottles we tried, for the closest one, she only took 1/3 of the time and wouldn’t even have half of it. I was so worried that she wasn’t getting enough milk so I kept packing purees for her, hoping she’ll improve soon. Until another mum recommended Minbie. She had half of the first bottle at first try and finished two more that afternoon. I was in tears with happiness. Finally, the regret of trying the bottle too late has somehow lifted. Now, she eats, takes the bottle and breastfeeds—my husband can FINALLY help with feeding duties! Everybody happy. Minbie is not cheap, but every cent is definitely worth it.I got this one since she was a starter bottle feeder, and since it’s small, it’s going to be easier for her to hold.
My baby developed jaundice at 2 days old that required phototherapy and a strict feeding schedule, which the infant feeding team recommended was done via cup feeding to avoid nipple confusion. I am absolutely thrilled that these bottles/nipples lived up to the amazing reviews. This is my second breastfed baby and it took us months, and many types of bottles, before my first daughter accepted a bottle - begrudgingly! I had my first go at feeding my second daughter some breast milk from my Minbie bottle and she guzzled half of it in one go! No tears, shouting or split milk at all. So impressed. She has on occasion pushed the teat out, but I’m mindful that this is a brand new skill for baby to learn. I intend to continue my breastfeeding journey and offer a bottle once a day so my daughter is nicely prepared for my return to work in the future. It is certainly a huge weight off our minds knowing that if she had to take a bottle for whatever reason, she can! ... MoreI am absolutely thrilled that these bottles/nipples lived up to the amazing reviews. I only wish I had used these for my first daughter and saved myself the months of stress.Thank you Minbie :)
This product is so well marketed, I was really hoping it would be some magic solution but it hasn't worked for us. Bubs really isn't into it after many many attempts over several months. The assistance I got through email was pretty generic and unhelpful. The milk seems to gush out of the teat really fast even on the slowest flow, so milk gets all over bubby while trying to give it to her. Also the ml marker is impossible to read when there is milk in the bottle. Very over marketed once purchased as well, all emails are about selling more minbie rather than actually helpful info. Glad it works for many, but it's still just a product like any other - so be cautious of the hype.
I was very excited when these bottles arrived! I was really eager for my 4mo old baby to try them! This is my 3rd baby, all of which have been exclusively breastfed, just taking a bottle when I work 2 days a week or have to briefly be away. This last little one though, is a diva and hates the bottle and I have tried many! So I decided to give these bottles a try! Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed! These nipples are horrible!!! The milk literally just pours out of them, even by just holding the bottle horizontal! I have never seen such a thing! I have purchased and used several other medium flow nipples and none have done this! I have a very heavy let down, so it's not the flow that's the issue, it's the fact she doesn't even have to latch onto the nipple ... MoreI was very excited when these bottles arrived! I have purchased and used several other medium flow nipples and none have done this! I have a very heavy let down, so it's not the flow that's the issue, it's the fact she doesn't even have to latch onto the nipple as the milk just shoots out of the nipple as soon as you start to tip the bottle over and continues to just pour out! If I wanted my baby to not have to suck on a nipple to get her milk, I would just use a syringe or cup! These nipples are by no means meant for a breastfed baby! They don't have to do any work whatsoever to get milk! I'd worry that if an exclusively breastfed baby did take this bottle, they wouldn't want the breast back since it takes much more work to get milk from the breast! Thankfully, I didn't have to worry about that, since all my little one wants is the breast! The most disappointing part was that I reached out to the company, thinking that the nipples I got must be defective and they offered no assistance for a replacement! They just acted as if this is normal! Buyers beware! I would not purchase these bottles!
