Functionality:I am already loving it, boot up valorant, and the feeling of using it was ecstatic. Not only was it light and had a shape that's fitting for my grip, the smoothness and quick tracking overlay were superb. 1khz and a 400ips, plus others extras, this mouse allows me to perform without any setbacks. Quality:The mouse has a smooth feeling to it, and I enjoy the scroll wheel since it's not unnecessarily smooth. They even give out rubber that's attachable to the mouse to compensate for its smoothness. Perfect smoothness on the bottom and well grip on the top. Material:It's very light even for its size. It's a mouse that should take precautions because one drop on that mouse could do some serious damage. I was wondering why the box was so big, but I found out that there were so many protection barriers. Every item that was advertised on their website, I got it, so it's legit. This was my biggest spending for a mouse, but I don't regret it.

A disappointing downgrade from the original

After owning 2 copies of the original G Pro X Superlight, I was excited for an upgrade to one of my favorite mice.The shape is unchanged and still remains the same as the previous superlight, and the first release, the G Pro Wireless. This shape works well for essentially all grip styles and feels great to aim with.The weight is essentially identical to the original superlight, which can be considered disappointing to those who hoped for a lower weight.The coating on the mouse is nothing special; you aren't getting a rubberized coating like on Vaxee or Zowie mice, or the more recent Razer mice. This leads to a very mediocre grip feeling, and the included rubber grips don't do a great job at improving that either. The lack of rounded edges makes them not feel great on softer mousepads as you'll get more of a "digging" feeling, so I would replace them with alternative ptfe skates if you are using a soft/x-soft mousepad.The sensor quality feels great and is smooth, absolutely no concerns there. There had been some reports of sensor spin-outs but it seems they fixed those through a firmware upsate, and shouldn't be a concern to buyers in the future.The build quality and quality control on my unit is where my feelings go from unimpressed to downright disappointed. The sides had slightly more flex than my original superlights, but nothing too noticeable for it to be a concern, however after essentially a days worth of use I noticed that both my left and right click had become very very loose feeling, as if the tensioning screws that keep the clicks in place weren't fully tightened, or the tolerances of the click pieces weren't up to par. This accompanied by the less tactile feeling of the optical switches compared to the original superlights standard mechanical seitches, lead to a less than optimal click feeling.At first this issue seemed minimal, as I figured the click feel shouldn't effect in game performance too much, but the looseness of the clicks created a grinding sensation alongside an overall rattly feel in the clicks that was EXTREMELY distracting in game.Being advertised as an esports/competitive gaming mouse, any buyers are likely looking for the best they can get, and this feels subpar to the other current releases.I would recommend purchasing the original superlight (which is cheaper!) for a better experience. For those of you who dislike the shape of the g pro, but want a symmetrical mouse still, I would look towards the Razer viper v3 pro. If you are looking for an ergonomic shape, then I would opt for a Razer deathadder v3 pro.I hope for future iterations of the g pro, logitech can take some inspiration from the other top dogs in the high-end gaming mice scene, such as Finalmouse, Razer, Vaxee, and Zowie.

After less than 2 weeks, the scroll wheel started misbehaving. The scroll wheel problems exist for last 5-6 years in many different Logitech mice. The biggest offender was Superlight 1, the previous version of this mouse.While holding the middle mouse button (scroll wheel button), it will detect it at first but after a second or two it will start "toggling" the button while I am holding it.The problem is even more noticeable while moving the mouse. It will constantly toggle the middle button.This makes is unusable in 3D modelling where user needs to move the model constantly with the middle mouse button. Good hardware, but with Logitech's shortcomings

A couple years back, I sold my Logitech G900 because I got fed up with Logitech's buggy software. I switched to a Steelseries because that one lets you configure it once and then save every setting to the mouse, removing the need for any software (Logitech does that on paper, but in the software when you switch to the device's memory it will lock you out of most, if not all settings).A few years have passed, I have a new setup, and it's time to replace that Steelseries (still works perfectly fine, but it's seen better days esthetically). I wanted to give Logitech a second chance, thinking their software got better, but immediately after installing it I ran into issues - freezing, auto-updates getting stuck... Good mouse, features make it not worth it.

The dongle and charger it came with isn’t working out of the box, so I had to use my own USB-C charger. So, I am not too happy about that. Quality points reduced for that. Tried connecting the mouse via the cord and it just wouldn’t work, even thought it was the port but no the port is fine it was the wire it came with, had to test a different charger to get it to work. The mouse is fast, there is no dpi button so you have to adjust everything in Logitech G Hub, another app to download that I was not too keen on and when being used by anyone it was nonsensical to download the app on everyone’s computer. Overall, it’s a nice mouse, fast but the issues that were experienced does not justify the price. I don’t know who would be using the mouse at 32000 dpi speeds because it’s not feasible and your mouse goes so fast you can’t keep track of where it went at that speed. I keep it at around 6000 dpi which is still pretty fast. The features do not outweigh the cost in my opinion. I would have expected to reduce or increase my dpi settings at the click of a button depending on my tasks but that’s not a feature it has and there is no setting to make even the wheel adjust it for you, therefore it’s cumbersome to manipulate. If you have small hands, it is light but it’s quite large so your fingers are spread out quite a bit for small hands. Also, the magenta is more pink than anything.

Great but Lacking

Traded my Logitech G502(1st gen) for this and would say it is great. It is as light, if not lighter than my G502 without its weights & battery lasts for long time. It has USB type "C" as a connector, which is a plus, and connect on the same dongle as my G915 keyboard. Also, I love how comfortable it is to use the mouse and it is ambidextrous use.There are couple downside to this is that it doesn't have a free scroll wheel & side to side click like my G903. There is a limited amount of programmable keys, which I use for DPI adjustment. To Save Weight I guess... which is fine & understandable.However, it is a pain that there is no dedicated button for DPI adjustment, which I had to use the 2 side buttons for DPI use. The BestBuy (Westbury, NY) Customer Service, was 1st accommodating, but after having problems with their system. Which is not my fault... The treatment went from kindness to, I don't want to bother with you, quickly.

Great mouse… but not for me

I am really loving how modern mouse companies are pushing for lighter wireless mouse technologies. I was very excited to look at this mouse and use it for my main gaming mouse. Instantly off the bat I noticed how light it was compared to the gpro that I have purchased before. The shape of the mouse is very safe as it has very minimal grooves on the sides of the mouse for finger placements. The scroll wheel is great as it is very stiff and gives me confidence with each scroll. The clicks are light and easy to press. One thing that I do not like about the clicks on the mouse is how loud and high pitched the clicks are for mouse 1 and mouse 2. I have had two of these mice and both have had the same problem. Dont get me wrong i know you arent suppost to throw or smash things, but when you get hardocore into a competitive game, sometimes it can slip through the cracks. Both mice have experienced the same problem. I pick the mouse up and slam it back down on my desk and after a few times, not back to back, the mouse will click no longer. Now if you are a chill gamer and dont have any anger to get out while you play this mouse might be pretty good for you. Another thing I don’t particularly like about the mouse is the grip tape. It is cheeply made and will starting leaving sticky residue on your hands after a week or three. But i’ll tell this, the mouse still works flawlessly, and the grip tape still has no signs of pulling up.

Very Good Mouse

Over all it's a good mouse. As I've gotten older, and have been able to afford; have come to appreciate finer computer peripherals. I have the opinion that Logitech makes on average the best peripherals like lighter mice, and this one is light. However their hub software isn't the greatest. My only complaint is that is does not have a dpi button to switch the sensitivity. Not a big deal since I really don't ever need to do that. In the rare case that I do, I have to open the hub software and set it through that. Not a show stopper, but I did notice it. I really only like one other mouse on the market and it is made by steel series. While being lighter and having a dpi switch, it is aesthetically more gawdy. Anything even as good or great as it is can be improved, even when the improvements that can be made aren't apparent.

best mouse i’ve ever used

the dongle+charging cable combo stopped working after a few days but the little usb thing still works anyway and it doesn’t make a difference. i came from a g502 hero se (probably like the worst model of g502) and it was like 5 years old.
