My favorite book of the series deserves an infinite number of stars #10024;This book made me forget I was even reading. I cried, I mourned, I smiled. I had to actually force myself to put this down and get some sleep. I even started to kind of like Nesta? Yes, now I am definitely a Nesta fan. :DI still have 100 pages left to read, but oh boy... what a ride.

📚Okay first of books from Walmart stink. Its missing that old bookstore smell. Its smells like a dusty laminate floor from a warehouse book shelf. So thats upsetting. Real readers will get what I mean. I can't do a review without giving to much away. 🚨SPOILER-ISH: Basic review.⚠️ 3rd in the series. Probably my second favorite. The story starts off a little slow to start. In this book the war against they Hybren King and his army has begun. Feyre' sisters are learning their gifts. And allies are formed. Back stories to character's are exsplained more and tears may be shed.

I know for many people, ACOMAF (second book of the series) is the best one. However, I think that this one is the winner. The plot was there, world building, character development, everything was above and beyond. Would definitely recommend this series, AND this book to all!

Actual rating 4.5 stars.Started off better than I had anticipated. Very impressed. I have to stay I enjoyed this book far more than the previous 2 in this series.I loved reading Feyre. Although she did feel predictable - I guessed her actions well in advance. But she was gritty and did not let a man define her (much.) And I liked how the element of family played a strong part of who she is in this instalment. She always wore her decisions, good or bad. It is an admirable quality and helped me connect and invest in her story. While I loved the relationship between Feyre and Rhys, his character seems to have evolved into a Mr Goody-two-shoes. Where was that scary darkness that he let us glimpse in the first two books? It gave him an edge. So while a great culmination in their story, I was starting to get a little bored with Rhys. The shining part of this book, as minor as it is, was Suriel. It tugged on my heart strings and even had many tears falling at the beauty of Feyre's interaction with it in the forest.Mass' writing style, especially when setting a scene, painted the landscape with such rich language I was truly impressed. There was a lot too it. A lot happened. The pace just kept driving forward. Though there were some spots where it felt a little slow. As a lot went down, the cast grew, transformed, challenged, I really can't comment too much about them without giving away any spoilers - but enough to say I really enjoyed the journey of all the secondary cast members. With such a wide and varied collection of characters, it was easy to track and identify each one.Have developed a great fondness for this collection. What started out as a Beauty and the Beast re-telling grew into an epic fae fantasy I'd recommend to lovers of this genre, Romance and female warrior protagonists.
Ever since I heard about the overlays at Reading Portal, I’ve been buying them left, right, and centre. The ACOWAR overlays are no different. The scenes are gorgeous and bright, and bring vibrance and life to the characters we love. I cannot recommend these enough, as a bookworm I treasure these SO much!
I love there overlays, they are beautiful! I just wish the artwork was the same style and look as the first 2 books… Mine also came out of order and I’m having trouble figuring out which one goes where? It would be nice if they were labeled in the pictures of the product. But I’m super excited about them!
The book is fantastic, 5/5 stars but I ordered mine online to be shipped to my house and what I got was devastating. The spine and back cover have pen marks that push so deep they gouge through the other aide of the dust sleeve, miraculously the book itself wasn't damaged aside from the dust cover. I'm honestly surprised that someone would choose to ship out a damaged book like that, it gives a bad show of quality. I enjoy Booksamillion, but my closest store is a 45 minute drive so I thought online orders would suffice and they don't. I won't be making any more.
This is quite possibly the best book I have ever read. I have enjoyed the ACOTAR series so much, and every single book has been filled with so much detail. This book was SO intricate though. I felt like I got to see more of an insight into the characters, and I absolutely loved seeing the development between Feyre and Rhys. Their love story is one that I find myself comparing to every single other book I read. I constantly compare the characters to characters in other books and they never seem to even compare. Sarah does such a wonderful job building the world and the elements for this story. I really felt like I was going to war with them, and I found myself not breathing at some of the parts, just in suspense! Amazing. Altering. Superb. i love these overlays and have been buying them since the acotar presale! i wish they had the same artist to do this set so they matched the other two. the art work truly just doesn’t compare to the first sets. i also wish each picture had a label of some sort since mine came out of order. overall great product and i can’t wait for the acofas set!
