Everything from the slick design of the machine to the style of the bottle is great. The machine is bigger than the one for plastic bottles but certainly not obtrusive. Really easy to use and wipe clean and the bottle can go in the dishwasher; only shame is that the glass bottle could be made with recycled glass.

The Aarke Pro looks very impressive, its almost like a piece of Art in your Kitchen. It is a lot bigger than there other models. The reason why we got an Aarke was to stop wasting plastic bottles, so I love the fact the Pro is a glass bottle and an added bonus, is the bottle can go in the dishwasher. The bottle is quite heavy and you mustn’t overfill it when your carbonating as it will overflow into the drip tray. It’s quick and effortless to use. Even my husband has been using it so you couldn’t get a better endorsement than that.

We chose the Aarke Carbonator because it is slimline and cordless. It looks great and has a glass bottle included with markings to make measurements easy. The kids love it for making pop and us grown ups love it too for sparkling water and making mixers for parties. Would definitely recommend this carbonator - it looks super fancy, is easy to use and doesn't clutter up the kitchen sideboard. Perfect!
It’s pretty, but it leaks on every use. The manufacturer is well aware of this, as it’s in the manual. There is a fill line. If you go above it, it spills water. If you’re in the line, it spills water. If you’re below it, it spills water. If you’re too far below it, it doesn’t carbonate. I’d pass, and buy the next one. But again, it is pretty, and you’re not using plastic. So there’s that.
The initial snag was that the water was losing its fizz! Despite filling the bottle just to the filling line, I thought, the tray that the bottle sits in for changing was flooding and then the gas was quickly dissipating. After lowering the level to a few millimetres below the fill line, all has been well and, though this has delayed my review, since I need (medically) to drink plenty and prefer carbonated water, I had to keep using my old machine in parallel. Now only using the Aarke, trouble free and using various supermarket squashes for flavour.
This slimline, contemporary design and neutral sand colour looks stylish in my kitchen. It is quite tall so consideration needs to be given to its location. It is simple to use & clean. Family members like different amounts of sparkle, so this product is perfect as the degree of fizziness is easily controlled. The sparkling water is great to add to home-made or purchased cordials as well as for making children's pop. The quality glass bottle holds 700ml but extra bottles can be purchased separately. Carbonating home tap or home filtered water will definitely cut down on plastic waste.
We have had a similar product from SodaStream for years, and this is much easier to use with a much more luxurious feel.
