This yarn is lovely and builds into a cosy & warm garment. My daughter in law chose this for me to crochet her a jumper from @littlegoldennook - Will absolutely use it again

I knitted a jumper in the pink mix colour and love the finished project. The yarn is soft and easy to work with. There were no knots in the multiple balls I used

Happy with the wool but very disappointed that the 10 balls ordered were 2 different dyelots - which did not match very well. Having made many calls I was unable to find a store within a days drive to get more. I think that a clear warning should be given when a garment sized qty is ordered. I will never order wool for a garment again.
Such a beautiful yarn to work with - I made a lovely vest for a lady who requested that I make her one to keep her back warm so I did it in crochet squares and it turned out great - I just wish that this yarn came in a Cream shade too, that would make make my day complete π
Solid performer. Used it for weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Wool content gives a good little element if stretch.
Recently bought this yarn to make a sweater. It's great and easy to work with however, as other reviews have pointed out, every ball I buy consists of multiple areas where the yarn has been knotted together meaning I am constantly having to undo these knots and work in a new end. It's incredibly frustrating and gives the impression they just add scrap yarn together to make a ball. I could understand if this happened in a ball every now and then but so far 7 balls in a row have had this happen at multiple points within the ball.
I used store pick up for 20 balls of this yarn.Unfortunately the staff member who picked the order didn't check the Lot numbers and I have 4 different lot numbers!I returned to the store to swap them and was informed by a very disinterested young man that whatever was on the shelf was all that was in stock and he couldn't help me.I went to the back of the store to speak to a staff member that I was more familiar with. She then went out the back and found two packages (10 balls!) of wool that I was able to swap most of the wool over with, but not all.Staff need to know that just because the wool looks the same colour that is not always the case. That is what lot numbers determine.
It's a lovely yarn to work with and I mainly crochet with it.It's so thick and warm and soft and works up beautifully for anything you might like to make with it which for me so far has been Vests and Beanies π
I love working with this yarn but can only afford to buy it when it is on sale - I mainly crochet items with it and it is beautifully thick and soft and warm and works up very quickly.
