I am disappointed in the performance of this garment for a one day hike on rugged terrain. I hiked the Dix mountain range in NY doing the loop. The pants suffered small holes in the side pockets and the threading on the main seam in the back is shredded and nearly gone. I was really excited to try these out and love the fit and comfort and dexterity I have in them, however the damage done in one day hiking through overgrown trail and sliding down huge rock on a cliff on my butt have made me concerned if they will last another hike before they are unusable. I assume other pants may not have faired as well on similar terrain. Wondering if I got a defective pair since the review on these are great. Would love to hear from the product management team.

Bought size medium - I fluctuate between small and medium for most products but these mediums are a bit tight. I'm assuming they will stretch a little with wear and ultimately opted for a bit tighter to ensure they stayed in place throughout the hike. The reinforced sections will be great, especially as a seat when I opt to sit for a break.

Bought specifically for hiking and they feel great. I’m a size 6 and the small fits well. The pockets are very nice. The fabric is nice and the dark grey on the knees and seat is non-stretchy durable fabric. I’m 5’5” and the length is a full length tight.

They smooth out my legs and rear and are flattering in that regard, however, because of a weird triangle in the crotch area, they look like I have camel toe and there’s a ripple on my inner thigh because that triangle has some serious stitching. I wore them hiking under some cutoffs so people couldn’t see the weird ripples in the crotch. I’m hoping that area smooths out over time because otherwise I really like them and they seem sturdy and true to size.
Love the material for end of summer/fall, and likely spring hiking. Mobility isn’t affected at all and they are quite comfortable. The pockets are a nice size. I find the pocket with the flap doesn’t sit smoothly (might be a bit of a defect), but otherwise really love these.
I honestly expected more from such a liked and expensive brand but their tights are just not worth the prices. They are lightweight, a bit compressive (which I prefer), they have knee enforcements and on the bum too which is cool but because they are so thin, you feel all the seems on the inside. The material feels cheap because of this. Unfortunately, i wont be using these much as I'm picky with textures.
I had a version of these leggings that I purchased a year ago and was hoping for a 2nd pair. These are a thinner fabric and although the same size as my previous pair, they are tighter and don't quite fit as well. I'll keep them but won't be wearing them for hiking treks or using them as I had planned to. The quality definitely isn't great.
I was expecting more rugged material, but these leggings are very thin except for the butt and knee patches. I can picture them easily snagging or ripping on brushy trails. I do like that they are thin enough that I don't think I will overheat in nice weather however. They run small! I recommend ordering a size up. The butt patch feels weird, like the waist band has fallen down below my rear end, but I will probably get used to the odd feeling after wearing them for a while. I ordered the green color so that the butt patch isn't so obvious, and I'm glad I did. It is very noticeable, but I bought these to hike in and not to win a fashion show. Overall, for the steep price, I was hoping for something a little tougher.
Another reviewer noted this, and I should have listened. It is pretty rough on the skin, too harsh for me - itchy too. I also would note that they show every lump and bump, so if you aren't perfectly smooth, be prepared to highlight that.Otherwise they seem well constructed and durable.
My girlfriend had bought the previous year Abisko. I fell in love with it. When I received my order, I was very disappointed. The fabric of the legging and the patches are not the same quality. The product should have been given another name. Lacks the quality of a true hiking pant.
