A best seller, this 3.00m x 3.00m shed is the quintessential garden shed. The depth and width ensure that it can store all your large household items, gardening equipment and power tools, while keeping them out of sight in your backyard. Doors are braced for added strength, and a pad bolt is included for additional security. Cyclone kit upgrade is available for purchase for this model. Absco sheds are designed to be anchored to a concrete slab. Bolt down kits are included with this shed kit. Assembly is made easier with the help of pre-drilled holes and Absco’s patented SNAPTiTE technology that allows panels to lock into channels without the need for screws. Absco recommends working at waist height using trestles and timbers for a faster build. 2-3 people are required to build sheds larger than 1.5 x 1.5m to assist with holding panels upright during the final construction. More people are required for larger structures. This app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play store.

My recommendation is to choose a different shed company that sells similar sheds like “Easy Shed”. Hopefully they have better quality control when manufacturing. If you do buy this shed make sure none of the sheets are overhanging their mounting rails before you assemble the shed or you will have the same problem as me. Good luck

I could write a novel listing all faults and misrepresentations for this product, but here are just a few. The number of "pre drilled" holes that are supposed to align can be counted on one hand. Expect to have to drill all holes because almost none of them line up. The "self tapping" screws they claim are included were nothing but plain pan head sheet metal screws. The panels on the sides where the top edge is tapered? They did not match up, they were off by over an inch, so the snap on rail could never clip on? Oh, and then there were the missing parts. I eventually did get them, but had to wait weeks. Although it is my personal evaluation (and I am a mechanical engineer), the over all integrity of this shed will NOT withstand even the slightest side impact (don't lean against it or bump into it, without the entire wall collapsing, and if you live in an area where you get much snow, you will have to do as i did and build an internal wooden support structure because the ONLY "support" for the roof panels is the corrugation of the sheet metal and the weight of even 4-5" of wet snow on the roof WILL collapse it! Perhaps I am expecting too much for a $1000 shed, but I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anyone purchasing this shed. Oh, and all the YT videos showing how "easy" it is to erect...if you look closely, you will see that all those predrilled holes they speak of, were indeed REDRILLED AND preassembled, disassembled and THEN reassembled on camera! How do I know? Look at the holes as they are screwing in the sheet metal screws....they have the tell tale circle around the holes made by the jaws of the drill chuck! Well, this is enough. Caveat emptor.

Goog Value for Money and Good Instructions
9 October 2022

The absco sheds are good value for money. The build instructions are good and the video on the app helps. It can be challenging for a complete newbie diy-er but people with average to above average diy skills it should be no problem. Common complaints of holes not matching up are valid and I certainly experienced this but it really is no big deal, just drill it out with the provided 3mm bit and you're good to go. In my opinion some make far too big a deal of a small problem. Pro-tip, pre build all panels in a double garage if possible so you can work in peace without worrying about the wind picking up. Definitely grab a mate (or two) for the final assembly as it can be a bugger to hold/prop the panels up. Pick a very low to no wind day for assembly as even the lightest of breezes can play havoc with your assembling. I liked that the package came with masonry anchors but did swap out the zinc plated dynabolts with galvanised ones myself. Most other sheds make you purchase the hold down kits yourself adding about $80 to the overall cost. In the end it took a day of building panels and a day to assemble. I took a lot of time to read the instructions and also watched the videos! Happy with the end result. Looks like a sturdy shed!!

Great concept but not so great precision of finish
12 January 2023

I bought the shed kit after getting outrageous quotes for complete installation from tradesmen. The kit was very reasonably priced and fairly easy to transport (2 boxes). The concept of the shed is great, everything was supposed to be pre-drilled and all the parts were supplied. Very few basic tools were required. The quality of the wrkmaship wasn't that great. Half of the holes were not done, but that was the least of the problem. Putting sides together was OK, not too hard, and generally the parts fit together (mostly). However, when when I tried to put all the sides together, that was a challenge. The holes didn't align and I had to drill completely new holes where I needed them. All others needed to be twisted and pushed to finally get it together.

Great purchase
17 November 2022

or me the test of a good purchase is whether I would buy the same thing again after considering the price, quality of product, installation ease, customer service and delivery. For me it was a tick in all the boxes and I am really happy with this shed. Absco are great to deal with; the shed was very affordable but strong and attractive. I got it up in 2 days in a moderate breeze with 3 people but it would have been easier with 1 more. I drilled a few extra holes but this was no issue with light gauge sheet metal. I spend some money on silicone and a bottom weather strip for the doors to waterproof. I even added a bottom flange around the outside edge of the slab which simply protected the form work sleepers I left in place and improved its appearance. Heavy rain? Forget about it!

Do not buy if you life anywhere with substantial rain!!!The shed itself is fine, and assembly really is 1 day if you've got sawhorses and tools and are fairly handy. I'd recommend 2 people as doing it on my own was a pain and having to ask my wife to come and help move panels each time was sub-optimal.Please note that well over half the 'pre drilled' holes (pre punched, not pre-drilled) were marked, but not actually punched. Now to the flooding. I put the shed up, silicone sealed inside and out and was planning on filling it the next day. Rain overnight and the shed has leaked faster than a Manchester United dressing room, last season. Leak 1: the doors.Silicone work isn't leaking, but there's clear seepage all around the edges ... How? Leak 2: the bottom channels fill up and seep under, filling the inside channels and overflowing into the shed. What have I done about it? Nothing yet. Still working on a solution. Just wanted to give a warning to anyone who lives in the tropics ... This one is not for you. Buy better. If you live in Radelaide, Birdseye or Brownsville ... basically anywhere it never rains heavier than a gentle sprinkle, then you're probably okay.

Material costs alone
10 July 2022

Check material prices, it may be cheaper just to design and build your own, it would be less frustrating. There are multiple issues that I had with the shed including:1. As others have mentioned, pre-drilled holes not lining up - we're talking about 3mm holes being 5mm out of place2. 'snapfit' connections being torn out completely leaving a hole3. poor packaging - when I opened the box many of the panels and channels were scratched from either their moving or other parts moving against them4. Poor quality rivets. When trying to put the rivets in for the doors I had 2 rivets completely fail (the mandrel pulled through completely without popping the rivet), and I've only put one door in so far.5. When trying to put the rivets in for the doors I had 2 rivets completely fail (the mandrel pulled through completely without popping the rivet), and I've only put one door in so far.5. Poor quality instructions. I'm not downloading an app on my phone to assemble a shed, when I'm doing work like this the phone stays in the ute where it's not going to get damaged through misadventure. So I expect the instructions to provide a better guide of how to assemble6. Further to the misaligned holes, the sheets and channels often do not match expected length, or length suggested in the instructions, so some parts don't seem to fit properlyAll in all, the only benefit that this product has over buying the parts and doing it yourself is that things are mostly cut to size, the edges are rolled, and my calculations had it cheaper than buying everything separately.I will be adding various reinforcements to the shed when I've finished, but I was thinking these were a 'just in case' option, now I've almost built it it's obvious that these reinforcements will be a necessity. On top of this, I am concerned about the design of the roof and the roof channels, and fully expect it to leak, so that's another modification I'm going to need to make (I was planning to add guttering anyway, but this just makes it a necessity)
