A great simple shed!

The shed is perfect for anyone who just wants to store tools, lawnmower, line trimmer etc.Installation was easily done within 4 hours. It is best to download the Absco app and watch the video specifically done for your shed. It provides a step-by-step method that makes installation seamless. I feel that you don't need two people building this particular shed.Overall, the design, installation and price was well worth it

If you think you can buy this flat pack jigsaw puzzle and have it all up and finished in a jiffy you are dreaming . If you do not understand technical drawings and have no iidea about the correct use of hand and power tools do not buy this shed. If you liked mechano as a child and excell in technical sheet metal projects buy this shed. I am a 38 year trade veteran that has built projects large and small . I put this together in 10.5 hours . Assembly of all panels took 7.5 hrs Erecting and finishing took 3.5 hrs . Do not attempt to assemble this in the wind . If you are not confident in assembly of things of this kind get a professional to do it for you . Otherwise it will end in tears . Save yourself the trauma .

The instructions were difficult to follow, and the pre-drilled holes didn’t match up. This took a long time to assemble because the diagrams were not only small, but they didn’t show which side is which. Also keep in mind that my Dad is experienced with building and assembly, and even then, this shed was a challenge to build even with his skills. Please do not buy this shed, it’s seriously not worth it.

Disappointing and Frustrating
4 January 2023

Everything about the Absco shed was disappointing and frustrating. The transit packaging was inadequate and the shed was delivered bedraggled, which resulted in minor but unnecessary damage to the contents. The assembly instruction booklet was poorly printed, the instructions were not explicit enough for the layman and the diagrams difficult to decipher. Review of the online Absco videos provided little actual help. The fastening screws proved too short in places and often 'popped' no matter how carefully components were moved. Component preparation and assembly took an inordinate time period due to the poor instruction booklet. Despite great care in aligning panels during final assembly, screw holes did not line up; discrepancy varying from 3mm to 25mm. Despite great care in aligning panels during final assembly, screw holes did not line up; discrepancy varying from 3mm to 25mm. The shed door remains unattached as the (too short) screws will not hold the door strap. The finished product looks okay from a distance and appears to be watertight. However, closer inspection reveals structural shortcomings that do not augur well for shed longevity. My partner and I have previously erected a Keter garden shed of approximately the same size in one quarter the time taken for the Absco shed and without the continuous frustration! I cannot recommend this Absco shed.

Good, but needs a lot of holes drilled
24 June 2022

It was all going good until it came time to put the door and surrounds on.I chose this shed over the other cheaper one Bunnings has as this one was Australian made- the intention was that it would be a better quality product. The app with video instructions was great and super helpful, so I would recommend using that.A lot of the holes didn’t line up, which wasn’t the end of the world given the self-tapping screws. However, it was the fact majority of the sheets and bars were missing holes, which caused a fair few delays as I was doing it myself and had to try and get panels lined up to drill. I ended up snapping a drill bit as you have to force and hold panels in place to drill.Overall I’m happy with it, but I think the company needs to do a bit of QA to ... MoreIt was all going good until it came time to put the door and surrounds on.I chose this shed over the other cheaper one Bunnings has as this one was Australian made- the intention was that it would be a better quality product. The app with video instructions was great and super helpful, so I would recommend using that.A lot of the holes didn’t line up, which wasn’t the end of the world given the self-tapping screws. Great shed, straight forward build
21 November 2021

I know my way around tools, and I always read instructions work for work. So this shed was straightforward to build. The people saying some on the predrilled holes don't line up, have not followed the instructions in order, or they have had the sheet around the wrong way (which I did once and corrected). If in doubt with the holes not lining up, just back the screws off and push the panels across. There are also some holes that you have to drill. These are mentioned in the instructions. Also you don't have to use a pop rivet gun at all. Use the supplied nut and bolts for the hinges. Simple.

Hard to build but looks gokd
29 April 2023

This shed seems fine once you build it but holy crap it wa hard to build. It took about 5 hours with two people and both of us are fairly handy and have built sheds before.Instructions were pretty much balls. It felt like a lot of the holes didn’t quite line up. The door seems a little unever but this might be my fault.Either way once we built it looks fine and works great. Took a hell of a lot of work - consider using the assembly service unless you love build things and have a lot of time on your hands.

Pretty good little shed

When i first opened the box it seemed a lot of work. The instruction manual is very vague and in some places you feel total frustration. However after looking on YouTube and finding their instruction videos it came together so much better.Cons:1 side panel appears taller than the other and so the holes didn't line up. Had to re-drill many holes. Some holes weren't through at all but you could see the imprint of the punch. The roof panel was very very hard to screw down using the factory holes. None lined up easy and had to be man handled in multiple directions to get them to line up. Even screws holes on the same side wouldn't line up.Pro: Neat looking when completed. I was able to complete the job in a day single by myself. Although it would have been much ... MoreWhen i first opened the box it seemed a lot of work. In addition, looks like i have to add a few more rivets both on the roof as wells as corners due to the scews supplied, i wouldn’t trust holding everything together as well as intended.Botyom line. Slightly dissappinted on the product.

Tricky Assembly
17 May 2023

As mentioned in previous reviews we found assembly extremely frustrating. We've assembled and built many items over the years and are experienced DIYers. This one takes an award for the most poorly put together kit. Instructions are far from clear and needed a drill and hacksaw to get it to fit together. Okay result once assembled but wouldn't purchase again.
