I bought this shed at bunnings and knew it was just a basic budget shed. I didn't need it for secure storage which is just as well as a 6 year old kid could easily break into it.Prepare yourself for plenty of swearing when go to put this thing together, it's thinner than a piece of paper and just as floppy. The small screws are so small and slippery that you need hands like a child to keep hold of them. You're using both hands, your ams, your legs and your head to hold it all together and just as you go to put the screw in it slips out of your fingers or off the end of the screwdriver never to be seen again.I also had trouble with some of the holes not lining up properly. I am a handyman so I do have some idea of what I'm doing, lucky I'm not an accountant or it ... MoreI bought this shed at bunnings and knew it was just a basic budget shed. I bought this to use a secondary shed to store my garden accessories. I was dissapointed that I had to redrill quite a few holes as they hadn't been done during manufacturing. There were dents where they should have been however not drilled right through. Also many of the predrilled holes did not line up correctly, making the installation quite difficult. When installing the roof there weren't any holes at all predrilled in the upper back panel framework to connect the roof, we had to do these ourselves. To be honest, I feel that quality control was either non existent or very haphazard at best.We ensured that everything was fully square prior to installing the roof and noticed that we need to manipulate the door to get it to close as it touches against the left ... MoreI bought this to use a secondary shed to store my garden accessories. I have in the last 12 months bought and erected 4 Absco Sheds. They are great sheds except for two small issues.1 Give the buyer the option of a full pop rivet kit instead of small screws, I pop riveted my sheds and I found it much easier to assemble but ended up with several hundred small screws, suggest 100 pop rivets and double ended drill bit.2 Apart from assembling the last four, over the years I have assembled numerous ABSCO sheds and I don’t recall ever erecting one where the holes to join the walls ever ever lined up and always ended up drilling my own holes, theory perhaps that the hole design is done without the top and bottom metal piece on, don’t know though, small nut annoying.

We bought this from Bunnings as the price was really good, the colours were good and so were the designs. We decided on the single-door 'space saver' shed as it fitted a small corner of our townhouse garden for outdoor equipment and gardening items. We were reluctant about the Absco shed purchase as we had previously erected another brand's 3mx3m shed and it was quite difficult and no parts were labelled or predrilled.Luckily the Absco shed did have all parts labeled and most holes were predrilled. We did need to drill a few that didn't line up, but they were mostly all correct. We also found the door had the hinges already installed which made installing that slightly easier. Installing the channels on the bottoma dn top rails were also very easy, compared to our previous experience too. Installing the door was the hardest part. Thankfully, Absco did have good instruction videos and we would suggest watching all of these as you go along. They didn't come with fasteners for securing the shed to the ground, but guess that's because it's unknown what surface you would be fixing the shed to. Overall, this is a worthwhile purchase, good value for money.
Now that I've completed the shed's assembly I'm very pleased with the result. However during assembly I reached moments I could have done without. The construction manual, which I had to download, a bad start, was too vague and the illustrations far from adequate. The You Tube clip was great, but nearly useless trying to follow on a phone's small screen. I had to find it on my PC and walk back and forth hoping I could correctly remember small stages of construction. Needless to say this was awkward and walking through the house with dirt covered work shoes didn't do domestic bliss or my frustration a favour.Furthermore, the video made awkward parts of the construction look too easy instead of pointing out aspects to be wary of.But, on the whole it was a very ... MoreNow that I've completed the shed's assembly I'm very pleased with the result. I purchased through the special orders team at Bunnings. It took 30 days to receive the unit in a 60kg box two people can easily move. Myself and my old man put the walls/roof panels together on a Saturday in roughly 3-4 hours. Then Sunday, my partner and I assembled the shed and anchored it to the floor in roughly the same amount of time. The online youtube instruction video made it very easy to follow the construction step by step. I will add, his kit is perfect, the one you receive will require you to re-drill holes to make things align better and the anchor kit does NOT come with the unit, and needs to be bought separately from Absco, or skip to 33.25 mins in the youtube video, take a photo of the screen and go to bunnings and make your own kit like I did for ... MoreI purchased through the special orders team at Bunnings. Overall I am very happy with the internal size of the shed, plenty of space for a large mower, ladder, shovels, edging equipment, shelves and still able to move around to pull stuff out.
Bought and assembled. It serves our purpose against a wall under a carport, but would not recommend this shed if exposed to wind and the elements; it will leak, the roof won't redirect the rain off it properly, and will need to be afixed to a wall or fence to be stable. But, it definitely works for us, because of where it lives. 1. This shed will require a cement pad or wooden floor. It does not come with anything. A wooden floor costs about the same as the shed. 2. This shed comes with a metal drill bit, as the latch needs to be drilled, but you will need it for heaps more drilling. 3. You will need a rivet driver to secure the door hinges. 4. Most of this small shed can be constructed by one person, including putting the roof on, but will need two once constructing the whole box to provide some pressure from the other side. It will take 4-5hours to construct. We didn't think it would take that long, but it did. 5. Other reviews are accurate that some prefab drill holes have not been drilled fully and sometimes they misalign. *Definitely check all panels for holes that are only partially drilled, prior to starting. 6. Additional holes will need to be drilled to increase the stability of the shed, but it comes with a ton of screws, so that's great.Overall, four stars from us as this shed works very well for us, because of the environment it's in and how we have secured it and how it's protected from the elements. But you get what you pay for.
When unpacked, tried using the app parts check list.Parts listing on channel , 81, supplied 1, so 80 missing !!Part description did not match picture on hasp !2 corner braces missing.1 pop rivet gun missing. So at the end, send, failure, server error. Start all over again same error. Gave upSo now onto the assembly guide.Imperial measurements !!!!Metric measurement in the parts listing.I thought Australia changed to metric in 1966 !!!How to you measure 0.6 (metric) of 1 inch (imperial) ??Rang the hotline about missing parts, no problem, we will send them out, still nothing.Looks like the pack was put together on late Friday when they wanted out the door.Get your act together Absco
I bought this to put up the side of the house. The shed is sold as 78cm deep. Not anywhere in the instructions nor on the website says that the shed cannot be installed hard against a wall - I made my slab 85cm front to back, then I built the walls, pushed it against the wall of the house then tried to put the roof on only to find that it sticks out behind the back wall by 5cm! I had to modify the roof so I can have the shed against the wall of my house! The next thing is that someone with a screw driver can undo several screws to gain access rendering the padbolt lock useless. I had to replace almost all of the screws with either bolts or rivets to slow an intruder down (yes, someone still can get into the shed with the right tools). The screws supplied to ... MoreI bought this to put up the side of the house. I had to replace almost all of the screws with either bolts or rivets to slow an intruder down (yes, someone still can get into the shed with the right tools). The screws supplied to install the hinge are the wrong size - the countersunk head are too large and don't fit the countersinking of the hinge. I had to replace these with different screws that fit. Most of the top and bottom rails are way too short. In every corner they don't meet - there is at least a 20mm gap where water can just pour in. There is approx. 10mm gap along the top and bottom of the door also. Why does the shed come with enough screws (220 of them) to build 3x sheds? So all in all, cost me around $5-$10 more in extra screws and rivets, but the item could have been $5 cheaper by only supplying enough screws for the one shed.
I purchased this shed to store the garden furniture in during the winter months .however since building it i have had a change of mind as it is not waterproof so will use it to store garden tools.instead , the reason i know it is not water proof is because soon after completeion we had a down pour. it may be that it was not designed to be on the UK market as the lower channels fill with water and overflow into the interior . I have machined 6mm slots in chanels to allow the water to run away. If left unchecked it would certainly lead to corrosion of the sides.Building the shed was quite straight forward although some of the holes for screws were out of alignment but as a drill was supplied it was just a mater of drilling new holes.Quality of materiels used is ... MoreI purchased this shed to store the garden furniture in during the winter months .however since building it i have had a change of mind as it is not waterproof so will use it to store garden tools.instead , the reason i know it is not water proof is because soon after completeion we had a down pour. it may be that it was not designed to be on the UK market as the lower channels fill with water and overflow into the interior . I would not recommend this to freinds without explaining the waterproofing problem . i am currently working on a more perminant solution proberbly using fiber glass to form a skirt around the top of the lower chanel.

Absco Space Saver Shed Monument 2.26m x 1.52m x 2.08m
The Space Saver is a compact design designed to fit neatly under the eaves of your home or other restricted spaces such as your garage, courtyard or apartment parking spaces. It provides plenty of room in which to store all of your gardening tools, or sporting equipment, without compromising your outdoor space. It is the perfect solution for anyone who wishes to acquire additional storage space yet is limited to the confines of an apartment, unit or house with a small backyard. Manufactured from high tensile steel with strength and excellence in mind, this shed is designed to withstand Australian weather conditions. Absco sheds are designed to be anchored to a concrete slab (not supplied). Bolt down kits are not included with this shed kit. Assembly is made easier with the help of pre-drilled holes and Absco’s patented SNAPTiTE technology that allows for panels to lock into channels without the need for screws. Absco recommend working at waist height using trestles and timbers for a faster build. 2-3 people are required to build sheds larger than 1.5 x 1.5m to assist with holding panels upright during the final construction. More people are required for larger structures. This app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play store.
