What a weapon! This thing would suck the plants off he floor if it wasn't for the soil weighing them down! Purchased 2 of these units after conversing with Soren about other AC Infinity alternate models. I wanted a unit that would perform well in a 5x5 set up without running it at high speeds and shortening the equipment's lifespan. I basically gave Soren the information of what I wanted to achieve (in creating a better grow environment) and he pointed me in the right direction without breaking the bank! AC Infinity have spent a fortune on research and development, and their products show high quality efficiency, excellent construction along with good solid durable materials used. Excellent unit that performs better than any other duct fan I have used.

I got this fan to move hot air from the room where my woodstove is located to the rest of the house. Fortunately, my furnace was directly on the other side of the wall from that room and I could connect the fan near the ceiling directly to the main hot air duct coming off the furnace. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. I use setting 7 during the day but drop it to 4 at night due to the noise level. It screams pretty loud at 10. Becareful when you first unpack it since the tendency is to place on the floor and test it. Make sure there is nothing in front of it like a small dog or cat. This fan moves a lot of air!

We have a home in central Alabama. There are two attic areas, that due to the design of the roof, with an inadequate number of soffit vents. Although there were ridge vents, there was very little air circulation in the attic and summer temperatures would exceed 151* F. We installed a T8 in each attic space and connected it to one of the soffit vents. They worked perfectly to pull outside air into the attic which allowed the very hot air to rise and go out through the ridge vents. One of them is installed right above our bedroom and we found the motor noise to be negligible. The controls are easy to set. The results exceeded our expectations.

Does not last

I would recommend looking at other products unless you do not mind replacing once every couple years. I have had two of these models and both went bad after about 2 years of use. Time for me to try some other models and hopefully find one that lasts longer.

I have honestly loved every product I have ever purchased from AC Infinity and the Cloudline T8 is simply amazing. I can't think if any reason why I wouldn't recommend the Cloudline series of fans. The app based controller is fun to use and provides you with invaluable data. I really have to give the T8 at least a 9.5 out of 10.

HPS light interference with temp sensor
11 September 2021

Although AC Infinity makes high-quality inline duct fan systems, they should make it aware that if you're running powerful HPS lights, they will interfere with the controller's temp sensor. I would suggest calling them and tell them what kind of lighting system you're using prior to purchase. They should have a warning on their website.

Monopoly?
9 June 2020

It's almost laughable how much better AC Infinity products are than the competition (or lack there of). I have owned every big name, big money fan on the market. In every category except size, AC Infinity wins. Price? On the low end! Noise? Quietest! Energy consumption? Least? Visually appealing? Definitely! Warranty? Almost no questions asked! If you're in southern California, they have a warehouse where you can deal with someone in person. I consider myself a well studied shopper, but when it comes to hydroponic fans and filters or A/V cooling equipment, I no longer look anywhere else. I own 6 AC Infinity products and all have exceeded expectations.

This thing is monsterous. I tried it out for size and it generated so much vacuum in my 2.4x2m room that I could barely open the door and it nearly pulled the mylar of the walls. Its glued on. I now have air pockets. This with an intake hole in the room!? At the highest setting its pretty loud (and can strip wallpaper) but at the kind of settings sane people use, its much quieter than anything else I have had my grubby paws on. My only regret is not getting two of them, since they do not have a spare part storage in EU. Not that I suspect I will need it, the build quality is top shelf but I like wearing both belt and suspenders. Still need to test the probe.

They will send the old model
28 December 2022

Ordered twice and received wrong/old fan and not-bluetooth controller twice. I was told to just use an adapter so the fan would work and they could help me by swapping controllers. So, you just offload Backstock on customers and send adapters instead of fixing your issues? Not cool

Plan on using them to clone and veg plants for green house once harvest is over. See no reason why my opinion would change. Hope there filters drop soon and maybe they come up with a intake filter that doesn’t restrict flow at a good price.
