Awesome monitor for gaming. Seriously impressed with the image quality paird with my PC. Clearest imagine I've seen on a gaming monitor.Flaws- controls could've been better but you'll get use to it. Learn the meun options it can be a little confusing but once sorted, you will love it.Under $1000 monitor with this performance is hard to beat.My other monitor is MSI Optix MAG274QRX which I thought could not be beat but this Acer blows it away.

I'll start this off by saying if you want a Mini LED 4k 144hz+ monitor get this one! This uses the same panel as another brands mini LED monitor, but this one uses an OEM lighting matrix and not the open cell design and the other brand is hardly ever in stock! And sure the chinese made ones may have 1000+ lighting zones but those are cheap looking and use cheap build materials. If recycled DeLorean's is your thing power to ya! Also If you ever needed support with warranty, I would not trust those brands. With Acer at least you can assure you will get decent customer support. This monitor is built with nice textured plastics and the base of the stand is metal. The overall design of the monitor and RGB implementation is very nice and not over the top gamer looking like the others Imo. My only complaint with the physical aspect of the monitor as others have pointed out, is the OSD buttons are a bit slow and clunky. But what they did not mention is Acer has a display widget to control some of your most used basic settings like picture quality and brightness straight from Windows. Besides, if your like me, you'll set it up once and leave it, no need to keep changing settings. The OSD itself is not the greatest, but it gets the job done. Some of the settings are hidden like changing 144hz to 160hz, Max brightness and changing the ambient light color modes on the back RGB strip, so just look around at all the options. Picture quality is superb! Colors pop ands are vibrant, the Mini LED's makes blacks look deep, 4k is nice and crisp and 160hz is super smooth to navigate. Someone said the HDR is not bright? Let me tell you it is blinding! Idk if that person does not have it enabled in Windows and the OSD or what but its too bright at times when viewing HDR videos and games. The Mini LEDS do have a little of a halo effect if its dark in the room or the screen is black with white text, but its not much worse then my MBP 14 with 2000+ lighting zones. Also image looks washes if you view from the side, but I always sit in front of my screen. Overall, yeah its not perfect but at the price this is the best monitor with these specs atm.

Image quality is excellent with a MiniLED backlight that provides enough contrast for an entry level HDR experience. The issue, however, is everything else that comes with the panel - horrible non-intuitive OSD with multiple clumsy buttons, an awful forced sharpening effect in HDR mode (that cannot be forced off, even with "super-sharpen" set to OFF), inability to change the backlight setting in HDR mode, and some minor gripes such as an audible fan and an ambient LED light that is so dim, I question why they included it.

I picked it up at the same time everyone else did, while it was on sale for $599. That makes it the least expensive UHD monitor with miniLEDs currently on the market. Having said that, I don't feel like it's an $800 monitor. I wouldn't pay retail for this, because bigger options exist with twice as many LEDs for around that price. Further to this, I had to exchange my first unit due to some screen clouding, pixel issues. The QC feels a little lackluster, but nothing wrong with my second unit so far.Because it's a new release by Acer, all the ports are up to date. You get HDMI 2.1 (@144hz) and displayport 1.4 (@160hz). The USB 3.0 hub is kinda cool too, especially if you have something like a Galaxy watch charging cable, which are notoriously short and don't reach ...Β MoreI picked it up at the same time everyone else did, while it was on sale for $599. The USB 3.0 hub is kinda cool too, especially if you have something like a Galaxy watch charging cable, which are notoriously short and don't reach the desk otherwise. It's nice if you use wired keyboards/mice too. Audio jack lets you leave speakers connected to the monitor instead of having to connect them directly to a laptop every time you want to dock.It gets really bright in HDR mode (higher than 1000 nits). It's actually quite impressive. There is a fan inside but it doesn't get incredibly hot nor loud either. No coil whine at all.It also includes every cable it supports, which are all good quality. This was surprising. The stand sadly takes up a lot more desk space than necessary, but aftermarket Vesa mounts/stands are compatible. Factor that into your budget if you're cramped for space.Overall, this is the best monitor you're gonna get right now for the price (when it's on sale). Other brands in the $500-600 range might look promising but they won't be miniLED and they'll be lacking in some critical area like outdated ports, brightness, etc.
Was looking for a mini LED monitor to get better contrast and good HDR and came across this one. It may only have 576 zones but thats plenty in a 27" monitor. HDR looks fantastic in games. Also Im pretty sure its the same monitor as the Cooler Master 4k mini LED. My only con is that the navigation buttons are 4 individual buttons instead of one navigation nipple.
Picked this up and after using it for a few days, I am very satisfied. HDR looks fantastic in games. Tried out a few popular games like halo infinite, mw2, and red dead 2, all look fantastic compared to my 1440p ips monitor. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the menu design, and more so the way to navigate it. My 1440p monitor by acer has a joystick, why they went with only buttons on a monitor over twice the price just feels cheap. Beyond that, I am satisfied with the picture quality, definitely would recommend this to someone looking for an alternative to expensive OLED monitors but still wants an image upgrade over cheaper monitors.
Worse OSD controls i have ever used. SDR gets really bright but with HDR enabled the brightness lacks that punch you would expect from a mini led monitor. HDR color mode is also the only setting HDR works with. Auto HDR has to be enabled for HDR to work but its not an auto feature as it just stays on HDR even on SDR content and when you turn it off you have to redo your picture settings for SDR. This monitor may be good some day if they fix a lot of stuff with firmware but in its current state its a hard pass.
Monitor does tilt, rotate and has hight adjustment, color are excellent once you ajust to your liking. Only dislike is HDR
One of the best. I've tried the Sony Inzone m9 and it had a beautiful picture but this one is just on a whole other level in terms of operation and picture. This is so BRIGHT and the HDR experience is something that will blow you a way. If your in the market for a monitor that will last you for years then grab this you wont be let down i promise.
Overall great monitor: good brightness, usb-c charging + display connection in one is great and implemented with enough charge to actually power a laptop indefinitely, nice resolution and response rate. The only minor downside is that the inputs are up inside the bottom of the monitor a good way, which makes wireless mouse / keyboards not work great because the wireless signal gets interfered with.
