The monitor came with VGA and DCI cables but no HDMIcable. so I cannot comment on it's picture and response abilities Plus, according to the Acer product website this model that was sent to me should have speakers but, the one I received appears to not include them. Without an HDMI to complete the hookup I can't give a more accurate and complete review. I can't recommend this item at this time.

This is a pretty solid monitor. The IPS display looks nice and has a very small bezel. My only gripe is that the monitor wobbles a bit when I am typing something on my desk. This is probably something that you can fix if you get a different stand. Also the design is alright, but feels slightly bulky for a 21" monitor. For a slightly higher price, you can get a much thinner 21" IPS display from acer. But for a budget price this isn't too bad.

Overall a great purchase! I got this for my budget build and I am very happy with the quality. As it is a budget monitor, it doesn’t have all the crazy gaming features but for anyone like myself that is just starting to get into pc building, you’ll be happy with this purchase. 75hz is definitely a nice little touch but don’t expect to be blown away. The only con is the lack of speakers but that’s an easy fix. Thanks Acer for a great product!

My only regret is I bought one to test it before going back for a 2nd and by then it was sold out. The nice thing about this monitor is it only uses about 11-12w in typical use according to kill-o-watt meter measurements. Thats about 1/2 of competing monitors. Admittedly this doesn't matter to most but my usage is at a solar powered site so thats HUGE for me.
I bought these and was first very hesitant bc there was no reviews but I have had them for a week now and they are great . The only problem I found was trying to put my headphones in the back was tough bc if you don’t put them in right it won’t be as great a sound quality but other than that these are great. Amazing quality especially for the price. Would recommend.
Clear picture, better than the other similarly priced monitors I've seen on display at local retailers. Downloaded the Acer Display Widget from the Acer site, which made the color adjustment much easier than the buttons on the back of the monitor. Better for video than the laptop it is hooked up to (by HDMI cable that I had to purchase separately.)
Installed this monitor in front of our treadmill. We plug our phones in and stream video while we run. It's mounted on an articulating arm which attached with no problems. The picture has been crisp. Overall it's a great value.
Cons:\n It took quite a bit of fiddling with settings to get an acceptable image. Text and images remain somewhat softly focused - The on or off sharpening setting is too harsh. Sharpening needs to be progressive. The image needs to be better out of the box. I?m not sure if it?s the panel or the anti-glare or something else causing the softness (maybe my old eyes). It?s acceptable, but somewhat disappointing.\n Switching inputs between HDMI and VGA requires too many steps and is slow. \n Included manual is minimal, vague, poorly written. The downloadable manual is worthless about some settings, also poorly written.\n There is some sort of a downloadable app, but it's not clear what it does.\n \nPros and comments:\n The 4 way controller is easier to use than multiple ... MoreCons:\n It took quite a bit of fiddling with settings to get an acceptable image. The location of controller falls easily to hand and avoids most accidental pushes. There are still a few menu based buttons as well.\n The menu system is not perfect, but it is much better than other brands I?ve used.\n It feels somewhat heavier than others, probably in part because of built in power supply - it still requires a grounded outlet.\n The curved back creates some extra thickness, but adds to the overall sturdy feel.\n The VESA mount is well located and sturdy. No screws are supplied. I don?t use the stand, so no comment on that.\n The cables exit vertically - my cables loop below the bottom of the screen and limit lowering the screen to the desktop. \n The bezel is very thin, but the actual image is about 3/8? from the bezel on the top and sides.\n The viewing angle is good but not great for an IPS monitor; I think it darkens a bit more than others as the angle increases.\n\n Overall a pleasant, decent, simple, unobtrusive, budget monitor with a few tolerable flaws.
The monitor has no connectivity issues and the screen works great. The main issue is that the internal speakers of the monitor do not work.
Don’t buy! I was given a 22 inch monitor just like the others had mentioned. However when my father had bought this same monitor and got the proper one. I don’t know what’s going on but it’s very frustrating!
