Acqua Di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Mirto Di Panarea Eau De Toilette Spray 30ml

It starts off quite citrusy and lemon zest like. Then you start to get the juniper and cedar, with the creamy myrtle and sea notes in the final drydown. It is fresh and soapy, very clean. I think it's really lovely. Great for both myself and my husband.

I got this as a sample, and to my surprise I absolutely love this scent! And I only wear one perfume because I never like different scents, I am so picky! This smells like a classy, elegant feminine summer, but fresh. I now have two perfumes I like, very exciting!

Masculine but feminine, but Nope can't do it

Oof, I like some masculine scents, but this one, No. I can't describe it, but it's like someone dropped musky cologne into gin. It's smells headache-y strong, horrible and super woody immediately at first spray, but slowly gets better and slightly more floral and citrus-y, but nope I can't do it. This is one of the worst perfumes I've ever smelled. This one is not for me.

Cool and refreshing. Somewhat minty. I can see it being called aquatic but I hate that definition of this type of smell. For me personally, I have a hard time calling anything minty aquatic. But it is a scent that I can see both genders wearing. But probably men would gravitate toward it more. It's definitely spicy but cool spices instead of warm ones. I could see it being a summer or a fall scent. It's not my favorite but I don't hate it either. I think that I tend to be iffy about Juniper berries and basil - darn minty notes.

Soft Clean Citrus

I am a fan of Acqua Di Parma. I have a few of their scents. This one is citrus and clean without that nose tweaking clean factor. I though the blue bottles were for men but I was pleasantly surprised that this is definitely unisex to me. I took off a star because it only lasts maybe two hours on me (it is a toilette) and it is not an inexpensive spray.

Actually, this is the only perfume I have tested once in-store and immediately bought the next day (full size). This fragrance distinguishes itself from a lot of other aquatic scents as it opens up with not only citrus notes, but also with myrtle, which immediately is already so captivating and uplifting to smell. As the fragrance settles down, it smells even more refreshing, classy, and clean from all the well-blended aquatic, floral, juniper, and amber notes. Very successful blind purchase!

So, I purchased this fragrance (10ml rollerball) relying only on reviews and description and thought that it's worth a shot - and I wasn't mistaken! Absolutely lovely scent and my new signature fragrance! Reminds me of CK One and Yves Rocher Lemon&Basil Body oil - it's very fresh, lemony and herbal and dries out to basil, myrtle and salt. Perfect for summer, very relaxing and calming; I will definitely purchase the full size!I had only one frustrating moment: I got my rollerball almost empty (the ball looked very wobbly so the whole bottle just leaked), but I got a replacement immediately with no questions asked, which is great! Opened the new bottle today and the ball still looks wobbly but at least nothing leaked this time.

Wonderful herbacious floral

I tend not to gravitate to the florals, however, I have been reaching for Mirto throughout July, August and early September when the still air fills with the scent of grasses, shrubs and tree leaves crisping in the dry heat. Mirto almost captures that scent in a bottle.The lemon of the Bergamot supports the herbaceous Myrtle nicely, giving it a slightly bracing opening that makes this a unisex scent, however, I think the floral notes help keep it in the feminine realm with a touch of powdery softness. Oh, and the cedarwood and amber are so nice and warm in the drydown.Of the five scents I've been able to try in the Mediterranean line, Mirto, Ginepro and Mandorlo are my key scents for summer and fall. I got this because of my favorite singer but mmm I kinda love it, it’s very fresh, it’s not a very unique scent but it’s something you can try out, I will definitely buy this again! But it doesn’t last at all on my skin (30 min) the sillage it’s not powerful at all! The price is very high!!! But the scent it’s good, I really enjoy it! This is a EDT so don’t expect a lot!

smells like summer!

I don't quite know how to describe it because it's somewhat complex yet very nostalgic. To me, it smells like summer because there is a specific note that is like sunscreen? now it's not overwhelming and it's not the whole scent but it's like there is a hint of that iconic smell mixed with ocean breeze or something! It doesn't specify the gender it's meant for but I really believe it to be unisex because it just has that quality about it. I got the sample so I will definitely purchase a bigger size!
