I love the “Oh l’amore” fragrance and the diffuser has been a staple in my home. I was hoping the candle would increase the power of that amazing smell. The candle smells amazing once you unbox it. However, I can’t smell anything while it burns, which is disappointing:(
I love really quality candles and have bought Acqua di Parma candles before. Wonderful throw and no black smoke marks on the glass. I admit I bought Oh Lamore as the name sounded fun. Wonderful fragrance warm powdery cosy like a hug filling the room.
I got this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He has Acqua Di Parma perfume which he loves so I though a candle would be a very nice gift. It smells absolutely divine - fresh like the Mediterranean sea in a Summer. It also looks very sophisticated on his desk. Pricy but well worth the money.
This candle burns so nicely and fills the house with a lovely scent that really lasts. I love candles with strong scents which this does. It's beautifully packaged and I would definitely buy it as a gift for another candle lover. It has lasted me a long time so far and I feel very worth the money.
The name Caffe in Piazza is a bit misleading because I don't smell much coffee or cappuccino foam in this at all. This is a warm, spice-based candle. Cardamom is prominent, with some hints of vanilla. At times I also catch a faint herbal note. Similar scents include Calvin Klein's Obsession for men, and Fornasetti's signature Otto scent. This is a candle with good throw but if you're looking for a coffee-scented candle, you'll be disappointed because of the strong spice notes.
I have never been one to buy into the candle hype but this is by far the best candle in my opinion. I had to stop myself from buying more than one because I already have my fill of candles. It has a lovely yet subtle scent that isn't too overpowering and lasts for hours.
I have recently returned from a beautiful trip to Italy and felt like I wanted something in the house to remind me of this gorgeous country. This candle does it perfectly. I can’t quite explain how but the smell just takes me back there immediately. It is a warm scent rather than citrus and makes me think of the romance of the lakes. The jar and box it comes with makes it feel much more expensive than it is and you can smell the scent before even opening it. I smelt all the others and this was the nicest by far - 10/10.
