From the first spray I’m getting a blast of beautiful citruses AdP is known for, a perfect marriage of bergamot, grapefruit, lemon with a hint of pepper to spice things up. From there evolved into a much deeper and complex fragrance with some woods and vetiver, a nice clean vetiver. As the astringent opening mellows, clary sage mingles with the bitter grapefruit notes to create something special. Lavender is present, but not overpowering, and tbh my nose would love a bit more preeminent lavender accord. In the dry down the herbaceous notes perfectly merge with the bergamot to add some depth to the volatile citrus notes. Over time, the citrus fades and a restrained vetiver joins the mix, but I’m feeling it a bit different, deliciously smokey at the end of this beguilingly well blended AdP offering. This is one of the most natural smelling, clean, aromatic, well-balanced colognes I have ever had the pleasure to use. The lasting power is somewhere around 5 pushing to 6h with moderate projection and silage for max.2h within arm length. It looks sophisticated and modern amongst my scent collection. This light scent lasts a decent amount (4+ hours), but can be extended if you spray onto clothing. The projection is moderate, as it is more of a close to skin scent but it will give you a slight bubble of scent as you walk past. I would recommend to those looking for a sophisticated, light, powdery citrus unisex scent to use in the warmer months that is very classic and timeless.

The bottle is heavy and luxurious, a lot like Juliette Has A Gun brand. The atomizer gives a very nice spray as well. I would say the projection/sillage is pretty good, people will be able to smell you. It’s a non offensive sent, nothing crazy, most people like the smell of citrus so I think this scent would get complimented and it’s pleasant to be around. Has good longevity especially when sprayed on clothes.

I recieved this fragrance from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I found the Acqua Di Parma Colonia to be a very well blended sophisticated fragrance. It opens with a strong but fresh burst of Sicilian citrus and warm sandalwood than settles and dries to reflect florals such as lavender, rosemary and the Bulgarian Rose. My initial thoughts was this cologne to be more masculine leaning however as time passed with the scents settling I found it to be the perfect scent for a conservative classy woman. In fact I’m not even sure the citrus in the opening does the overall fragrance much justice. Luckily that aspect doesn’t last.Once the heart notes start pumping out, the fragrance smooths considerably and turns very green. The sage and lavender provide this part which is where things turn quite pleasant to my nose. There is also the gentlest of sweetness at this point supported with a faint hint of woodiness below it. It's bright yellow and is pretty compact for a full sized cologne which is easy to travel with if needed. I like how it hugs the cologne bottle inside, protecting the bottle well. The bottle itself is a clear bottle with black cap. I didn't feel like it really had a special look to it, the bottle is pretty plain and doesn't have a luxurious or unique look. It is your usual spray applicator which worked well. When I tried the cologne, I was on the fence about it. It is branded as unisex and it definitely can be but it was not my favorite scent. As a cologne, this definitely leans heavier on the zesty citrus and warm woody notes than it does on the rose and lavender heart. I would interpret this as a masculine scent, and perhaps something I’d enjoy smelling more on a significant other than on myself. There is definitely a level of attraction achieved in the olfactory makeup of this cologne. I was curious how the vivacious citrus and floral notes would translate into a cologne, but this fragrance definitely pulls it off with the help of the more grounding and assertive rosemary notes. There is a sort of bitterness that comes with the dry down that I wasn’t crazy about. Otherwise, this is a very sensual and alluring cologne perfect for the Summer season.
