Colonia Futura by Acqua di Parma is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Colonia Futura was launched in 2020. Top notes are Lemon, Bergamot, Grapefruit and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Lavender and Sage; base note is Vetiver, according to Fragrantica. "Colonia Futura is Acqua di Parma’s declaration of love for nature, blending Italian citrus, clary sage, and vetiver. This fragrance is derived from 99% natural ingredients. From the first spray I’m getting a blast of beautiful citruses AdP is known for, a perfect marriage of bergamot, grapefruit, lemon with a hint of pepper to spice things up. From there evolved into a much deeper and complex fragrance with some woods and vetiver, a nice clean vetiver. As the astringent opening mellows, clary sage mingles with the bitter grapefruit notes to create something special. Lavender is present, but not overpowering, and tbh my nose would love a bit more preeminent lavender accord. In the dry down the herbaceous notes perfectly merge with the bergamot to add some depth to the volatile citrus notes. Over time, the citrus fades and a restrained vetiver joins the mix, but I’m feeling it a bit different, deliciously smokey at the end of this beguilingly well blended AdP offering. This is one of the most natural smelling, clean, aromatic, well-balanced colognes I have ever had the pleasure to use. The lasting power is somewhere around 5 pushing to 6h with moderate projection and silage for max.2h within arm length. This is a very versatile fragrance and because of the notes and amazing blends Colonia Futura could be used year round. #acquadiparma #perfume #fragrance #parfum #scent #cologne #duft #fragranze #dapper #sotd #fragrancelover #scentoftheday #perfumelover #fragrancecollection #eaudeparfum #influencer

This isn’t a typical scent that I would try on my own so I was delighted to be gifted the Acqua Di Parma Colonia Eau De Cologne. I typically go for scents that are either floral or woodsy but this was a refreshing twist on a light citrus scent that is timeless, sophisticated, classic and will never go out of style. At first spray, it is extremely bright, uplifting and fresh as a burst of citrus, lemon, orange fills the senses. It does smell of true citrus, not artificial or cleaning product-like. Bergamot, lavender, rosemary and Bulgarian rose round out the citrus and give it a balanced, earthy and floral tone. The warmth of my body chemistry brings out the finishing woodsy notes, with sandalwood and patchouli coming through once dried down on the skin. It is a powdery fresh scent that is unisex so I was excited to have a scent for both my husband I. It is great for the warmer spring/summer months and does reflect scents of the Italian coast. The bottle mirrors this idea with being simple, modern and refined. It comes in a mustard yellow textured cylindrical box that I love to house it in. The bottle itself is simple, classic and high quality artisanal with its clear glass and printed coat of arms sticker showcasing the yellow fragrance inside. It looks sophisticated and modern amongst my scent collection. This light scent lasts a decent amount (4+ hours), but can be extended if you spray onto clothing. The projection is moderate, as it is more of a close to skin scent but it will give you a slight bubble of scent as you walk past. I would recommend to those looking for a sophisticated, light, powdery citrus unisex scent to use in the warmer months that is very classic and timeless.

I think this is a beautiful, refreshing scent. I love the Sicilian lemon note with the lavender, it smells like the perfect scent to wear on the Italian coast. I think this is very unisex in my opinion, I plan to share it with my partner. It’s perfect for the summer and hot weather. Based on other reviews I expected to not like it since people were saying it smells like an old man, no it really doesn’t lol I would say this doesn’t lean masculine or feminine, it’s right in the middle, perfectly balanced, a true unisex fragrance. The lemon note is such a realistic scent, the perfumers did very well, it’s like someone is peeling a lemon right in front of me. All of the notes are so beautifully realistic, organic, sophisticated, and sooo refreshing. A lot of brands have ... MoreI think this is a beautiful, refreshing scent. A lot of brands have trouble nailing a citrus scent, sometimes they’ll smell like cleaning product, or too synthetic, but this is the most perfect citrus I’ve ever smelled. The bottle is heavy and luxurious, a lot like Juliette Has A Gun brand. The atomizer gives a very nice spray as well. I would say the projection/sillage is pretty good, people will be able to smell you. It’s a non offensive sent, nothing crazy, most people like the smell of citrus so I think this scent would get complimented and it’s pleasant to be around. Has good longevity especially when sprayed on clothes.
I recieved this fragrance from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I found the Acqua Di Parma Colonia to be a very well blended sophisticated fragrance. It opens with a strong but fresh burst of Sicilian citrus and warm sandalwood than settles and dries to reflect florals such as lavender, rosemary and the Bulgarian Rose. My initial thoughts was this cologne to be more masculine leaning however as time passed with the scents settling I found it to be the perfect scent for a conservative classy woman. It can absolutely be unisex. As it's not the typical fragrance I would go for, it did take a while to get used to, but now after using this fragrance for the past month it has now become one of my favorites and one of my husbands as well. This cologne is something I would picture George Cloney to wear. A single spray lasts all day (a truly long lasting scent is rare to find) and its perfectly fitting for spring and summer months. I view this fragrance as a timeless masterpiece that can't be compared to others. The packaging is simple; a vibrant orange cylinder box encasing a clear bottle showcasing its citrus and floral tones. The shape and size fits my vanity well without clashing with my decor. Very contemporary.
Colonia Futura is very much a well thought-out, smooth vetiver scent, so not your traditional colonia based on citrus or soapy neroli notes. The opening is a bit misleading and comes across as really harsh. In fact I’m not even sure the citrus in the opening does the overall fragrance much justice. Luckily that aspect doesn’t last.Once the heart notes start pumping out, the fragrance smooths considerably and turns very green. The sage and lavender provide this part which is where things turn quite pleasant to my nose. There is also the gentlest of sweetness at this point supported with a faint hint of woodiness below it. It stays very green. The whole accord makes for a herbaceous, aromatic green scent.I can’t wait to put this on in the warmer months, but even in the winter it has proved unique, vibrant and uplifting. In my opinion it’s everything that the hash-up known as Colonia Club should have been. My faith in AdP may just be restored with this scent.

I received this Acqua di Parma colonia as a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review. I love the packaging to start. It's bright yellow and is pretty compact for a full sized cologne which is easy to travel with if needed. I like how it hugs the cologne bottle inside, protecting the bottle well. The bottle itself is a clear bottle with black cap. I didn't feel like it really had a special look to it, the bottle is pretty plain and doesn't have a luxurious or unique look. It is woody and powdery at the same time. It has citrus hints as well. It almost smells a bit like bar soap. It smells clean but I'm not a big fan of powdery scents so this unfortunately did not work for me. I felt like it would work best for someone who is into more mature scents, whereas I am into lighter scents. As a unisex scent, I still felt it leaned more towards a masculine smell but that is all subjective. For the price point, I think the brand could have done more.
I received this product for free from Influenster and Acqua Di Parma in exchange for my honest review. Today I am reviewing a cologne called “Colonia” from Acqua Di Parma! I am always excited to test out a new fragrance product, and I was intrigued to learn more about this cologne made in the traditional craftsmanship style of Italy. The packaging really doesn’t tell me much about the fragrance. However, the bottle did come packaged in a lovely yellow ochre colored cylinder box with a glossy canvas finish. The vibrant yellow hue is reflective of the effervescent citrus perfume held within. The vibrant yellow hue is reflective of the effervescent citrus perfume held within. Both the box and the glass bottle came dressed in a white label with the product’s name and the Maison coat of arms. The design of the bottle is very sleek, simple, and contemporary - not too showy or extravagant. Personally, I like the more unique and detailed facets of perfume bottles - though I’m sure the silhouette of this bottle is iconic as well. As a cologne, this definitely leans heavier on the zesty citrus and warm woody notes than it does on the rose and lavender heart. I would interpret this as a masculine scent, and perhaps something I’d enjoy smelling more on a significant other than on myself. There is definitely a level of attraction achieved in the olfactory makeup of this cologne. I was curious how the vivacious citrus and floral notes would translate into a cologne, but this fragrance definitely pulls it off with the help of the more grounding and assertive rosemary notes. There is a sort of bitterness that comes with the dry down that I wasn’t crazy about. Otherwise, this is a very sensual and alluring cologne perfect for the Summer season.
