Acuvue Oasys 1 Day With Hydraluxe 30 Contact Lenses

Tried these out as all reviews and advertisements suggest they are better than acuvue moist and was very disappointed. Diameter is too wide for me, tab was hard to open. And not as comfortable and moist as my original product. Wish vision direct has sample sizes of all their products so I didn't have to waste so much money of contacts that are actually not the right fit for me. (maybe they do for this product but and I didn't look properly)

I've settled on these long term. They last the whole day, my eyes tolerate them well, they're easy to put on and remove. I've found others that were more comfortable but were pain to remove, or had awful packaging that would cause them be damaged during removal from packaging (they'd get stuck). Oasys HydraLuxe doesn't have these issues and was overall best I tried so far.

I love these lenses. They are super comfortable and the quality of the lens is great. I was able to wear them all day without feeling ‘dry eyed’. They were not cheap but I feel they are good value because by wearing them comfortably all day, you feel you are getting your money’s worth. A good quality product. I will definitely order this again and again.

I used to wear Acuvue Trueye lenses but I just couldn't see close up, so then I tried Baush & Lomb but these are too flimsy for me and didn't stay on my eyes (I blinked them out, they would not take to my eye). Vision Direct were wonderful and allowed me to return them and get credit. So I then went for these (Oasys). Well what can I say, these are the best lenses I have ever worn in my life. They can be worn for about 12-14 hours and you'll forget you have them in. My eyes don't get dry at all. This is the best for seeing up close and far away. I can see everything. I have a slight astigmatism on both eyes (0.25/0.5) and these are just amazingly comfortable and have improved my sight through lenses so much. Buy them!! You won't be disappointed!

She gave me some to trial a few years ago and I’ve used them ever since.I can never feel them on my eye which has definitely been an issue with other brands I’ve used that have left my eyes feeling dry and uncomfortable. I recall often having to remove my old brand of lenses before even leaving work as they would get so dry that I couldn’t stand to keep them in for the journey home. Never had that issue with the Hydraluxe lenses.Overall, great product, especially for those who struggle with that dry, tired uncomfortable feeling after wearing lenses for a couple of hours.

Overall I am happy with the lenses and although I have only used them for a couple of weeks I have found them very comfortable and my sight seems clearer and a little improved.My only critisism is that although they are easier to insert they are much more difficult to remove and if I happen to nod off for half an hour reading in bed they are even more stubborn!! I rarely have a problem removing the normal Daily Acuvue but once or twice I have got quite panicky at not being able to get one or both of these little blighters out!!Not sure if I will order more especially if the removal continues to annoy me as it's difficult to justify the almost double cost if they are not a 100% improvement?

Crisp and stable vision, but starts to falter in late PM

Developing astimatism was a significant annoyance as went from being comfortable with most lenses out there (just sphere power, no cylinder) to having a lot difficulty finding a lens providing clear vision + steady correction (no lens rotation, given the cylinder). Tried many daily (1-day Acuvue Oasys, Biofinity MyDay Toric), bi-weekly (Acuvue Oasys, Biofinity Avaira Toric) and monthly lenses (Airoptix for Astigmatism, Biofinity Toric, Purevision 2 Toric). Yes, this trial phase costed me a lot...Most seem to provide blurry vision/suboptimal visual acuity. The two best were 1-day Acuvue Oasys and Biofinity Toric (monthly), both of which provide really crisp vision. Airoptix for astigmatism is better than those 4 but not as good as 1-day Acuvue Oasys or Biofinity Toric (monthly).The issue then with Biofinity Toric (vs 1-day Acuvue Oasys), for me, is that, having had binocular vision issues requiring visual training in the past (convergence insufficiency), I seem to be sensitive to the vertical prism across the optic zone present in the Biofinity Toric. This vertical prism is absent in the Acuvue Oasys lenses line, due to a different mechanism of lens stabilisation. Indeed, while I love the monthly Biofinity Toric for mid- range to distance vision, I feel a significant discomfort with sustained close work (e.g. reading). I do not get that with the 1-day Acuvue Oasys.Voilà. I thought, this feedback could be useful to some.

Great product

It's been years since I have worn contacts. Once I found this product for astigmatism my excitement rose especially when entered my prescription information and I was able to get both prescriptions for each eye! They are comfortable and I find my eyes don't dry out like they used to with contacts. Easy to put in and take out. Will keep ordering them!!

EZ ordering, good prices and quick shipment. What's not to like?Had been wearing Accuvue Moist dailies, but had issues with dry eye after longer periods in them. Decided to try Oasis for that reason, and while it's early days they do seem to help in that regard. Happy so far!
