My niece decided to help me and got the other adilette out (which I described above) of the packaging and cut off the tags in haste but making life easier and excitable. As soon as I put them on I knew, and took them straight off. It's like the band is too tight squashing my foot out at the back and no toes up the front. Cheaper/Lighter than last pair
31 October 2023

Had prior version pair with more density and weight despite smaller size. Eventually the little nubs on last pair started to shear off and leave "rat turds" around the floor; took awhile to figure out what they were. This model seems to also run a little large compared to last pair and size 13 arrived as 13/14 (US) and seems to really lean closer to 14. They'll do and the price paid makes them worth keeping. Will not order another pair online but will go to employee store and try on some to make sure quality and fit are right - even if a little more money.

Great Quality!
17 September 2024

My son and husband have always owned Adidas slides. My husband has had the same pair for probably 5 or more years. My son kept having to get new ones every time his foot grew. We never consider any other brand. This time as he needed a new pair for college, again he chose these basic Adidas slides. They’re great quality for the price and I know they’ll last.

Review of adidas Black Adilette Aqua Sliders
1 April 2024

Bought for 13 yo son as needed a plain pair with minimal branding showing (his stipulation) all the Next ones were too childish or had extra embellishments which son did not like but these are good quality, comfy, fit well. If a little on the pricey side for what is basically a pair of flip flops for the pool. It’s the brand you’re paying for. The 3 adidas stripes don’t show up much so my son was happy.

Solid pair of slides
11 September 2024

I bought these for my daughter as she plays VB and needs something to slip on after changing from her on court only shoes. It took a few good wears to break in she said as has a bit of an arch. She finds them to be more comfortable after some wear. She finds mine to be more comfy as I have the adilette comfort slides. She likes these ones as they are solid pair of slides but if you are looking for more comfort go with the comfort slides.

The HISTORY of the Adidas Adilette — & Excellent!
1 October 2021

It seems that the mass popularity growth and resulting mass imitation market that was created over the last 30 years or so by the likes of “me too entrants” like Nike, Under Armour and others has caused people to use these differently than originally designed for BY ADIDAS ONLY. I played college Soccer and what was “pro” for one year at the time just before the formation of MLS (Major League Soccer) in the US. The first Adilette came in ONE color; navy blue. It was for Soccer players to remove their cleats from sore feet (or to prevent sore feet) and SLIDE our feet, still with two pair of heavy socks on, into them and leave a game, cleats off. As a result, we wore them a half-size or even one size up from that of our cleats. Among our players on campus many players would be seen wearing them as their main shoes, too. Others seeing them resulted in what also happened (for a handful of years) with Umbro shorts. A Soccer player could not eventually be identified by what someone was wearing. It’s funny; slides and Umbro shorts “were OURS”. Soccer players’. We didn’t like it, but whatever, we were young. The Adilette became so popular (though nothing close to today) that Adidas came out with a totally new design; the Adilette II. Or Adilette 2. I still have mine, although even in their remaking of so many old/originals designs I have NEVER again found the Adilette 2. Royal blue with the logo in the center top and two screened vents, one on either side of the top. Fast-forward to today and the original Adilette comes in the original navy blue and black. These pictured here are what I wear today. And I think they are a terrific redesign of the original, with a very similar look, though the Adidas name is now on the side and the top materials are different. To be fair, the materials are a little softer and break in better on the original. That said, I think these are terrific and I DO recommend them. If you are a Soccer player OR any athlete who might want to do as I explained, removing your game shoes and “SLIDING” your feet, socks on, into these then remember the half-size up rule. They don’t come in half sizes, so I’m referring to someone who might wear, say, a 10.5. You would sure want nothing less than 11. For the same reason of fitting slides to you ‘socked feet’ some have even made them with a fold-over Velcro strap on top. That is to close them comfortably over your doubled socks. NOT because it looks “cool”.

Very painful to wear!!
26 March 2024

Bought these while traveling to use at the pool in the hotel. I am normally a fan of Adidas and frequently buy their products. However, I would not recommend these slides to anyone. These are the most painful things I've ever put on my feet. Literally feels like you're walking on Legos. Don't buy these.

beautiful and comfortable
14 December 2022

I absolutely love these sandals. They fit my feet perfectly and are completely comfortable when I walk. I love the contoured feeling under my feet; and the grip of the sole on the floor gives me confidence as I maneuver corners. I have high arches, but the top strap fits nicely on top of my feet. There is a very sturdy shoe hangar included with the slides which will make them easy to store. The deep blue color is beautiful and makes my feet look attractive.
