Adidas Best Racing Shoe For Marathon

Adidas Best Racing Shoe For Marathons and half. Love how cushion and stable of a ride it is. I overpronate at slower paces or near the end of the marathon and this shoe is very stable for a SuperShoe. Wide Heel and Energy rods keep my ankle from rolling in.Highly recommend this shoe for the marathon. IT really rolls you on your toes and keeps you moving fast. I run a 3:30 marathon and looking to run 3:20 next race and this is my pick.i also love that it is not super squishy. It is soft without the sinking in feeling. Its just really comfortable with a great rocker. Plus it is probably top 2 best looking shoe .(i like the pro3 as the best.)

Bouncy!

Wow, just wow. First time trying this type of shoe. Cannot believe the difference and how much it propels you forward. Not sure I want to run in them all the time, (afraid I could not go back to a normal shoe!), but they are great for days I want to be/feel fast. Definitely recommend. Runs TTS (your running shoe size)

I have really enjoyed running in the Adidas Adizero Adios Pro 3 (AAP3). To my mind, the shoe has been a great entry into the carbon plated shoe world. Based on my experience, the AAP3 is not too aggressive in terms of its geometry and is stable enough for my needs. I would recommend to people who are looking to try and utilise a carbon plated shoe. I am intending to utilise the shoe for half marathon and marathon distances. However, I still feel like the shoes can be utilised for 5 km - 10 km races.

I want to love these but...
1 October 2024

I have a marathon in 3 weeks. I bought these shoes with the intention of racing in them. I'm struggling with getting the laces tied properly so my heel does not slip and breaking them in. They seem to feel stiff and not much cushion. I ran a 16 miler in these a few days ago and had to stop several times to adjust the laces. Any and all help is appreciated. I gave three stars since the jury is still out....

Lightweight and comfy
8 October 2024

Very lightweight to use and comfortable. The sole’s height is not too high unlike other carbon plates shoes. I used this in long distance running and it really helps with the fact that I don’t need to exert more energy in lifting my feet lol!I also love the color (I got the pink aurora metallic), suits any of my outfit.

My new racers
25 December 2024

Running in Adizero was an experiment to see whether it would enhance my times. As a keen Parkrunner I thought to try an alternative to my Hoka Clifton's. The Adizero is more bouncy but with less cushioning than the Hoka. Still becoming accustomed to a completely different shoe. Seems to be better for flat and even surfaces but not so good on cross-country uneven courses.

My new racing shoes, Adidas!
25 April 2024

I've worn the shoes once. I did a 5k race in them. It was not a PR but I liked the feel of the shoes. The only issue the tongue on the right shoe was rubbing on top of my foot. I didn't care for that. The laces seem cheap for how expensive these shoes are . This is my first pair of adidas running shoes. I was always brand loyal to another shoe company but finally broke free from buying their shoes. I'm going to wear them in my 10k race this weekend. I'll get a better feel since I'll be wearing them lounge.

Roomy with soft spring
30 June 2024

I took these out for a pacey 10km and they were pretty comfy. I would say it is quite a roomy shoe which suits me as I normally need wide. I think 7.5 would hold up fine as plenty of toe box and good grip. Shoe did feel stable and lightweight in feel though the spongy base did not give me an overall spring. You’d expect it to translate to good energy return.

Running on bouncing rubber
24 June 2024

Very bouncy. Very interesting shoe to run or jog.Shoes lace is funky and take a awhile to get it right to put it on.True to size and quite roomy, I can only wear wide shoes like Hoka or Topo or Altra and this one I order half size up and felt too loose and is thinking about return it but I adjust the shoe lace a bit and now it fits quite well and next time I may order true size.It is pricy shoes, I have never ordered any running shoe over 200 quits but this one may worth it provided it lasts longer than any of my Hoka. One extra point, the shoes are ultra light and maybe great to carry to travel on the plane.

Super shoes

Light, comfortable, fast shoes, I wish my legs did them justice! But they get me a faster time and I'm not a fast runner. The smooth rubber sole looks as though it would slip but actually gives much more grip than plastic soled shoes that have a lot of grooves. The lack of padding doesn't really bother me, the shoes fit well, there is plenty of width without being too deep and the ankles and sides are cut low enough so they don't hurt low ankle bones. I have had the same shoes in the size i always used to take in Adidas Adizero, but they have always been a bit big and I've had to tie them very tightly, so i ordered my normal shoe size this time and they fit perfectly and feel as though they might go even faster. I haven't tested them much just yet but they are ... MoreLight, comfortable, fast shoes, I wish my legs did them justice! But they get me a faster time and I'm not a fast runner.
