I never normally leave reviews, but if you want fresh legs and free speed!

I bought these knowing it was potentially a gamble, in as much as many reviews diss the stability, but many have no issues…they are clearly a marmite shoe!Ultimately I love these shoes, I am a forefoot striker and quite a light footed runner; I’m sure that helps but they are as stable as pretty much any other race bread shoe out there.. I have endorphin pro 3, speed 2 and endorphin edge trail, and for me these are the most stable!!The cushioning is excellent in that it’s protective but still propulsive; the rods are flexible and for me, roll with my foot, so no stiff carbon plate fighting your natural gait etc.The upper is awesome, and the fit is accommodating. I do have a wide foot and I found that half a size up was perfect. I love these shoes. I’m a recreational runner (5-6min/km) and these make everything more fun. The ride changes completely from forefoot strike to heel strike, which makes running a whole new sport, the are propulsive! Use a forefoot strike for sharp turns and stability is no issue. I can jump 360s in them with no worries about my ankles.

I have never owned a pair of max cushion shoes before, I usually run in the saucony speeds or more recently both versions of the takumi zen 8 and 9's.I got these as I have been dealing with a bad calf, and my first run was a pain free half marathon pb...... I only intended a gentle 10km, but it felt good so pushed for 10 miles, at which point there was still no pain so I carried on for a full half marathon setting my pb at 1hr 31.I then tried them on a 2km warm up, 5km effort and 3km cool down in which I set my 5km pb at 18.54, 5 seconds of my previous best.All I can say is GREAT shoe, does it all.
