Initially these shoes felt a little too tight, but not in the size too small way. The padding around the ankle seemed bulky and the toe box wraps in on both sides, making it much smaller than similar style shoes. Because of this, I ended up with blisters around my ankles and my toes always felt crammed together. After wearing them for several days, they never did break-in or get more comfortable. If you decide to try this style, maybe ordering your size in a wide would help improve the complete lack of comfort. I would recommend skipping these altogether, though.
