The adidas NMD R1 Core Black Shock Purple is an athletic shoe crafted from a fabric upper in monochrome Core Black. With a long heritage, German athletic wear brand adidas has honed its expertise in creating performance athletic shoes. Beyond that, throughout history, the brand has maintained its signature design motifs, including the three stripes and trefoil. The NMD R1âs contemporary aesthetic provides adidas with another canvas on which the brand can experiment, with its combination of plugs, midsole, and stripes offering numerous abilities to generate color variations. In this iteration, adidasâ signature three stripes are printed on the sides in Core Black, accented by black lacing. A white midsole displays the Shock Purple and neon yellow heel and midsole plugs. A branded heel tab and additional logo printing on the inner side provide additional color pops, and the Core Black outsole grounds the look. Our experts feel that the best feature of the NMD R1 is its Shock Purple and neon yellow accents, which add interest to its Core Black aesthetic. The adidas NMD R1 Core Black Shock Purple was released on August 1, 2018, and retailed at $130.

I have been wanting to grab these RND 1's for a long time but they were always on the higher end of pricing. Well I saw the sales on these and I immediately grabbed. These are definitely the hype. Stylish and trendy. You got to have the right clothing for these shoes, or it won't go well. But I, for one, am happy with the purchase.

Well made and great looking shoe. I love the style My biggest problem is with the comfort. It's definitely not at the comfort level (or price point) of the Ultraboost. It provides nowhere near the support or cushioning and thats my major problem with the shoe. The heel drop is a little too much for me. It feels flat. I am involved in a lot of athletic activities and I tend to develop Plantars Fasciitis, when I do not wear supportive athletic shoes. With the lack of support these provide, I doubt they would make it into my workout routine and definitely not my cross-fit or HIIT routine. Great walking shoe and great stylish casual to fit your athleti-leasure outfit, but to the gym?? Probably not.

While my 14 year old son really liked the styling of these Adidas NMDs, they did not hold up well. We ordered them in mid-February and by the end of May (worn casually, but almost daily), there were major holes through the toe of these shoes. In addition, the upper of the shoe is incredibly thin and offers no support. Again, great styling, but quality is not necessarily on par with the price tag, IMO.
Nmds are really comfortable for almost everything that I do, especially for casual wear. I've used them for exercise as well, and they work perfectly as well as any other dedicated performance shoes I have. The boost midsole really helps with cushioning, and the overall sock design helps to keep your foot secure, while also staying breathable. I've noticed that some people may need to wear an insole as well, because some wider feet may not feel as comfortable when trying to do exercise.
I bought these on a whim because of the huge discount and Iâm glad I did. Theyâre very comfortable. I wouldnât buy them as training shoes, but for everyday wear theyâre great. The sole of the ball of the foot area is quite thin, so youâd feel everything on rough ground. You could go a half size down but I stayed with a 5 for comfort (and thicker socks) :D
Hands down, probably the most comfortable pair of Adidas I've owned in a while. They are the truest to size shoe I own. They are wide feet friendly, and coming from a guy who doesn't want to get a half size up to "make do" this is an extremely comfortable shoe.I love the style. The wider heel adds a lot of support so I don't feel like I'm just going to suddenly roll my ankle. There is no tongue, so when you put your foot in it's like wearing a more formed fitting sock. Buying another pair.
I Don't believe I can say anything bad about these shoes ! The Adidas original NMD R1 STLT was purchased for my son who is in 11th grade who plays football so very athletic ! He uses these shoes for daily use including even when running ! He loves them the style the comfort and the material ! Easy to wash is just the icing on the cake !! Thank you adidas and FINISHLINE !!! Fishline is the only place I buy my 4 teenage boys and 1 teenage girl their shoes at ! I highly recommend âââââ
