I mentioned on Facebook how low the price was I got quite a few responses asking for the place where I purchased I was more than happy to share with them. I was the lucky one and I think it may just been the pair I got.

These are very comfortable and completely waterproof, they have adequate ankle support and feel great when walking, they are a little bit narrow around the ball of the foot but after a few days the sides give in and are fine now. They are a quality light weight walking boot.

I've wanted a pair of terrex boots for a while and these didn't disappoint. A snug fit with plenty of support and no slip soles make for walking more confidently. I like the plain all black design and light weight materials. The gortex uppers having already passed a shallow stream test. Altogether a decent shoe.

I haven't always been always been a fan of Adidas but after I bought myself a pair of Terrex AX3's that caught my eyes, I said well let's try them out.. they were comfortable at first and then took them on a 3hr hike and when the hike was over, I was very happy that my feet were sooo comfortable and not hurting. I saw these boots that have the same technology as the shoes I bought and I gave it no second thought and it provided me with more ankle support and way every so happy with my purchase!!!! Not only are they great for a more vigorous hike but they are just as comfortable as the AX3's I bought and also stylish to wear as a casual shoe too. I am definitely a Terrex line Fan now!!...
I have waited a while before reviewing to try the boots on various hikes. I tried a size 8 on in store and needed a half size up but they were not in stock. I purchased a pair of 8.5 online, the process was easy and the goods arrived the next day.The fit was perfect and I decided to give them a 3 mile walk tester, they are nice fitting for my feet and comfy, if a little stiff at first, they are grippy on surfaces and although my walk was over fields and hills on the road sections they stayed comfortable. I have yet to test the waterproofing, but time will tell.To sum it up, great once worn in a little, comfortable with varied terrain and different weight socks, can see these being used for 3 seasons for me, as I prefer mountain boots in the winter. Great price and really pleased I purchased them.
When my husband opened his gift, we discovered we were sent old used shoes. They were covered in paint splatters and the soles were dirty . Extremely poor. I wrote them an email and received barely an apology. And I have to send these back via mail. No prepaid postage or anything. Plus why do you want these back? To send someone else the used shoes ? How about just a refund ??
These are the worst boots I have ever owned. They hurt my feet in many places, but especially across the bottom. The soles of the boots are so stiff that I think it is impossible to break them in. I have tried to change the insoles to create better padding, but because the shoes run small, any replacement insoles cause my toes to be too cramped in the toe box. So annoyed that I threw away a fair amount of money ($110+) on boots that I cannot wear.
Very pleased to have got these for 30 quid, but they come up very small. I’m a size 9, and the nearest size I could get was 10, which was still a bit too small, so I bought some shoe stretchers which made them a bit bigger, and after wearing them in, they’re extremely comfortable and seem to be genuinely waterproof.
I wear a 14 in athletic shoes but these do run smaller. I do own a pair of the Adidas's terrex skychasers in a 14 and they fit perfect. It's a little peculiar as to why these run small and they a narrow compared to my skychasers which could be due to the fit running small. Great looking shoe in person but do order a size bigger than you would normally wear. I can't speak for the comfort since I had to immediately return them but from the first try on the foot bed felt plush. I can't wait to take them out for a hike in the mountains once the new size comes in. I would recommend these for any hiker of any experience. They have a very robust sole and tread plus the continental rubber is extremely gripper. They use the same rubber on the skychasers.
first purchase was a rush and didn't get the right shoe size. On the first exchange I didnt see that the heel was broken and was a sore as soon as i started wearing it around the house. Second exchange finally did it. Worth the money as the goretex actually leaves my feet dry after a day of working with water. Water only leaves my shoe, doesn't enter it. Actually had water splash directly on shoes several times and I never got wet toes. I've suffered from trench foot in the winter previously and I'm looking forward to not having to deal with that again! Great tread on shoes. Splurge on these and you will not regret. My only takeaway is to be patient as with any shoe purchase.Also Dicks has very accommodating exchange policy.
